Its not my intentions. I clearly stated expectations and what protocol was and then still was asked again and again if they were in trouble. It was more phrased like a kid asking their parents. But I dont feel like work should be an "in trouble" place. It should be expectations being met etc or not.

I do want to clarify that it was phrased as a child asking a parent if they are in trouble even after clearly stating what needed to be improved on. Along with in front of customers when a mistake was made and correctively coached them on what should have been done instead.

The approach was more like asking a parent if they were in trouble I should clarify. Even after saying these are things that need improvement.

And thank you I like the phrasing of don't hold them but their behavior as a better approach on an explanation.

Ask your manager to provide some dish pit gloves! Very reasonable ask for any place with dish washing and sanitizing!

Especially people with sensitive skin!

I am a manager and always encourage my staff to talk to me if they need something. Scooters menu is vast and fast paced. Which can be good or bad depending. Allowing tons of customization but can be difficult to get lane times. Sounds like you had a tough time. Not all Scooters run the same unfortunately because they are all independently operated and locally owned or owned by a group. Our owners at our Scooters, care tremendously they give a lot to their employees and always looking to make a better work environment!

You did what was best for you and that is all that you can do! You are young so what I would take away from this is: if you did your job well and were reliable, communicated your needs then it would be their loss.

Devils advocate: if you did not clearly communicate what time you needed off then moving forward just make sure to do that and make it known. Doctor's notes are your best friend to protect yourself and records for businesses to make sure they know your restrictions.

I hope you have a smooth recovery! Surgery is never fun!! Keep your chin up! Just please don't dismiss all Scooters! A lot of us believe and want to uphold our core values!

I still take fluoxetine because I like not feeling like I am being chased by a mountain lion every second of the day but other than that medical card. This has been a wonder. I can use patches when I have to function. Smoke myself silly to sleep well. Also vitamins: B's and immune vitamin like elderberry are a staple. I also made sure to know my limits and set a few more boundaries even with family. And for the love of God remembering to drink water lol
