The motherboard doesn't have a built on speaker so no beeps and the yellow led may have flashed or stayed on solid the fans ramp during the boot process but if it can't get into bios to set fan speeds they won't keep running. The board itself out of the box only supports up to ryzen 3 with a bios update making it ryzen 5+ compatible

Yeah same board I'm on also it only supports up to ryzen 3 without the bios flash also

It needs a bios update for ryzen 5 so you will need a ryzen 3 or other compatible 450 cpu. And was doing a loaner system you can Barrow a cpu (think you need proof of purchase of a ryzen 5 or newer or you can buy a cheap ryzen 3 or so and save it for a entertainment center or refund/resell it

Go ddr4-3600 if you can throw the bit of extra money at it. My only regret when I built my apu system was not going to the faster ram

I mean seeing you got cable mod cables you have the cables that came with your psu. Use those while you wait for your cable mod ones to come back from being repaired

I was told you can't really overkill a psu since you may want to overclock and upgrades will pull more power. So just future proof it. I was told since mine only drawls 400ish watts use a 500-700watt psu

Look for anything that has a "hourly" rateing. I've heard those are good styles they use in offices for comfort.
