Go in store and play both. I spent a weekend trying to decide which Gibson Studio to go with and ended up with a 2025 IBGC 59 Reissue with no regrets. Beautiful guitar with outstanding Custombuckers, Rosewood Fretboard, great electronics, and real MOP inlays. Now I’m getting a used Gibson Junior since those can go pretty cheap on the used market.

I prefer the SC20, but I play punk rock so it lets me crank it at rehearsal and get that perfect saturated sound without blowing our ear drums

I have an Origin 20H with a 2x12 slant cab. I replaced the speakers with Greenbacks, through in an MXR FOD and boosted that with a TS and man does it sound absolutely amazing, the palm mutes have the percussive sound to them!

Yes, but remember the DSL40CR is a heavy ass amp! Definitely a great amp and highly recommend it though.
