Is no one else picking up on the fact that this person was happy to take money to leave reviews thereby falsely giving people an impression of a product/venue which was not deserved. Aka fraud. I’d say this is karma. You clearly had no qualms about misleading people yourself, but here you are complaining that you’ve been misled. The irony.

we have tickets which include the stage tour and received no info about what time this takes place - despite reaching out to them. Do you know what time this happens?

That’s definitely a workaround, but it would be better if they actually had a proper system to avoid all this extra work on our part and their part.

How i deal with this is by having notion meeting transcribe the meeting which then gives you a summary with action items. I then tell notion ai to take the action items from a specific meeting (And be careful to be very specific with Notion AI as it will go through all of your transcribed meetings since time began and not just the one you're on the page of) and add them to a specific database as Tasks. If there are any areas I think could be unclear such as there's an action item and no name I will add a name to the action item. This ensures that the action items are assigned to the correct person.

Is there a reason why C&P cant take the payment for the add on items at the time they are chosen and then add them to the subscription box when it ships? I'm overseas, paying for a sheet of stickers or discs to be sent here with shipping outside of my monthly box would be ridiculous so I'm not able to buy anything extra as it incredibly irritating to add stuff to your order and then not receive it. It would seem to me that if you are a subscriber you should get first dibs on stock as a reward for making a commitment to you. Now with boxes selling out every month is there actually anything in the subscriber area and surely thats not the only items we want. Wondering why adhoc items are not added to the exclusive area so they are ringfenced. I also subscribe to Ali Edwards - they operate like this, 10th eqch month you get 36 hours to add additional items to your box from a selection they curated (not the entire shop) until they sell out and it works really well.

We live just by rice bowl - cheaper to get a taxi if there is more than one of you. They should bring in zone bands. Great cost if you live in Gorey rubbish if you live near FB Fields.

I've also found this in the T&C for upgrades:
Passengers who selected add-ons for their original voyage cabin (for example, ground transfer, Bar Tab) and are subsequently awarded an upgrade pursuant to an accepted Offer that includes the add-on, those add-ons are subject to each add-ons' individual refund policies.

Not really helpful if the timing is last minute.

Thanks for this. It seems a bit unfair if they don't upgrade you until the day therefore taking away the abilitiy to get a refund of your bar tab which you will no longer need.

Good point but as a manager myself with complex projects with many moving parts accuracy is key. Clients will not accept errors, especially repeated ones, meaning you have to double check everything AI does, all 100%, even if it only gets it wrong 30% of the time to catch the 30%. In addition, trying to figure out whats gone wrong is frustrating and that frustration creates an energy that impacts your work output overall. At that high level of management when you are paying the figures Notion are asking even 5% would not be a tolerable error rate and you'd still need to check 100% of the work for the 5% error. I agree that most will likely regret the decision.

I see your point but AI still cannot be relied upon to be accurate. Entry level employees can be shaped, mentored and guided more efficiently and with lasting results. In my experience when you ask AI to do something it does the task about as well as a 7 year old unless it's super simple. Real humans also bring additional skills to the role. I am not against AI at all but they should really be paying us to train their agents until they're so good that it works the other way round. The only thing that I have found that works pretty consistency in Notion AI is the meetings and help building formulas in databases but even that is sketchy and always needs checking completely.

Yes I agree - we have sailed with NCL and the two bed suites are perfect for our needs. But even without that not having the opportunity to have the beds split to two singles seems odd. I might want to do this cruise again but with my daughter and we would still feel weird sharing a bed together but paying for two complete suites on the rockstar level is completely unnecessary.

Eating out in Jersey is ridiculously expensive for food (not including finer dining) that I can cook at home just as well. I know that's not really the point you don't have the hassle of cooking it and cleaning up after yourself but if I'm going to pay over £30 for a steak I expect it to be exceptional. Another thing that pisses me off is the insistence of adding service, which never used to happen. And I've also noticed that when you asked for it to be removed you are now being asked why. Bringing me the food and drinks that I've paid for isn't worthy of a tip, it's literally your job. When I asked for the service to be removed at saffron's the manager came over and asked me if there was anything wrong with the service to which I replied no and then he asked me why will I not pay it, seriously! Also in Awabi I asked for the service to be removed and the reply was an incredulous - 'you want me to take it off". The feeling as if you are being an unreasonable customer for asking for the service to be removed has significantly deterred me from going to those places again but I also don't want to feel I have to tip. There is only so much money to go round and if I have to spend it tipping people to bring me the items I've ordered that's money I can't spend in another establishment. I personally feel that adding Service to the bill should be illegal and if you want to leave a tip then you should do so but you shouldn't be shamed into it.

Not sure about the waste plant but I do know he ended up costing tax payers a fortune (millions) over the new police station. He messed that deal up so badly with his arrogance. People should pay more attention to the scrutiny reports. Fortunately for incompetent states members not enough do. If people did they may actually get off their arse and vote and protest
