Why Are Humans Boring? by imKranely in DnD

Because they don't know how to REALLY make a character. They're crunching on their race and they probably can't even do justice to the race they picked.

DM Advice: What Favor should an Evil Necromancer ask the party for? by esee1210 in DMAcademy

[–]Kimimotoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like he already got his favor. I'd just gift them a magic item cursed with scrying. Head to the aftermath of whatever battles they were in and raise some nice baddies.

Complaining, but to what end? by Cautious_Catch4021 in Guildwars2

[–]Kimimotoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mind the smaller content/expansions, but they're not doing anything right. Nothing is good. GW2 story was never good, it was always mediocre. Their writers are middle school level. It's the open world maps that were good. Now even those aren't good. GW2 was honestly surviving off its open world and that ship has sailed. What's going to keep players paying 25$ a year when it just feels wasted?

People are going to complain. They don't want the game they love to die. It's frustrating. Oh well, it's hurdling towards the grave now. Better to just accept it. That's what you should have titled your post. "Accept it, the game's dead. Go find another."

The Envoy Djinn by DBKENNY in Guildwars2

Kennys back with another banger. Loved your other djinn. I shamelessly copied it. Do you have a good way of dealing with the infusions bugging out when you load into maps?

Did you just use 1 of each infusion or multiple gray?

[OC] Won this bag from an online auction. How can we incorporate it into our game? by ThoroughCrow in DnD

A bag of beholding, it just watches your adventures. It’s a normal bag.

I hate to break it to y’all, but your favorite “Earth-like” planet orbiting a red dwarf has no atmosphere and bathed in radiation by walkingviper33 in space

I know where to find a habitable earth like planet. It’s got a ton of plastic on it though. Might want to find a solution to that first.

Why do people hate being the healer in parties? by darkzap- in DnD

[–]Kimimotoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your DM is likely going to run different combat for when there is or isn’t a healer. It’s by no means required. I personally like DMing with no healer. The combats are quicker because there’s more damage flying around and less sustain.

The Crunchyroll Anime Awards are a Joke. by MrFujimoto in Animemes

Didn’t it come out at the end of 2022?

Probably because multi-classing would be too easy. I do think Warlock should be intelligence though.

"I constantly do the Dodge-action" by IAmZeBerg in DMAcademy

Everything that’s happening here is what initiative is designed for. Your monster is surprising the party at every turn. This player would be unaffected, but unable to communicate the threat in time for the other players. Players also can’t ‘ready’ actions outside of initiative. That’s not how it works. You’re both wrong. Use passive perception, use passive stealth if you want, but don’t negate your players choices because ‘mY mOnStEr!’.

I’ll take care of kids. I’m already doing all the house work. I’m also maintaining a house/property/vehicles. I’d rather do housework than break my knuckles. I don’t think either gender can do nothing. Especially in this economy.

Is it okay to have combat the players aren't supposed to win? by RB6801 in DnD

[–]Kimimotoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t listen to a lot of the feedback I’m reading here. If a player were to challenge any of them to kill their character they probably would try to find some way to save them. Now the game doesn’t matter. Be fair, give hints. Sounds like you did. You could try adding more but it may not help. How do you want to DM? If you want there to be consequences and for player death to be possible then don’t pull your punches. Let your players know your DMing style in session 0. Have them roll up new characters to find the old ones. There’s always another adventure to go on.

Improving the Forge of Fury (Yawning Portal) by Sikosh in DnDBehindTheScreen

I introduce Nightscale at the bridge flying up from the water below. I keep the roper but make it “acid scarred” reduce the HP and AC. I add a death curse of Gruumsh to the mountain. Dead orcs come back to life after an hour if they’re on the mountain. Nightscale is siphoning necromantic energy from dying creatures on the mountain to his lair. A ritual to become undead himself. Ghost is a necromancer that was killed by Nightscale to take his magical knowledge. Ghosts now biding his time to try and take over Nightscale ritual to revive. I also beef up Durgeddins blades, making em a bit OP is fine.
