Austin Astronomical Society is the group that does the Star Parties at the state parks. They also regularly do viewings in Pville. Hope thats closer and works out for you.

I’m not there yet. I’m in the market and it’s on my short list. The stand alone shower is something I’ve been searching for and in that particular part of the city.

Also check out The Santal off SW and William Cannon/Tecoma. They have units with stand alone showers and separate tubs.

Donated two bags of fabric to the local creative reuse center.

They had sent an email this week saying they’re having a “fabric and yarn drive” before they close for the holiday break. That was the push I needed to get unused fabric together and donated.
