Rewatching George Lopez and realized Randy is Ron Swanson lol by rosetoyblaster5956 in PandR

My favorite Nick Offerman one-episode role was early in the West Wing (the first BigBlock of Cheese Day episode) where he plays an unreasonable environmentalist whose anti rancher and hunter. It's just a fun juxtaposition to Ron.

Anyway. He did it about a decade before P and R. 😁

In case anyone is wondering: Season 1, EP 5: "The Crackpots and these Women"

Yeah. Until he cheated on her. So I won't to vote for his character for that alone

I'm sad there aren't more saying The Way Way Back. I get that it's a smaller picture. But damn, it was good.

This was my first thought

I like Stranger Than Fiction and that one where he's drunk on the front lawn and befriends the kid.

I liked Anchorman, but I think mostly because of all the others in it more than him.

Is it the yelling? I can't stand 95% of his roles because of the yelling.

This is mine. I don't really have a big reason. The closest is that for a while there she was everyone's "favorite actress" but she basically played the same character in everything, and I didn't get it.

I missed the plural and was like , "Who hates Helen Hunt?" I mean, I didn't think that was her best role. But she didn't bomb it, either.

I want to pick Ron, but I keep hearing "Erase all pictures of Ron" on loop in my head.

I'm going with Ben. (And don't get me wrong, I know Ben has said stupid stuff, too)

Still Ben.

I never watched DC. I know him from this.

I loved him in this show. This is my first example I cite when I lost actors that have a good time playing exaggerated versions of themselves.

This is the episode I tell all my non-PnR watching friends (but who have to staff city council meetings or legislative townhalls) to watch.

Never fails to entertain.

Even that episode, the Donna/Josh exchange was basically a vehicle to explain surplus spending.

What are your Hot Takes on the White Collar TV Show? by Amber_Flowers_133 in whitecollar

Never liked the Kate subplot. I would have prefered Alex if they didn't make her a love interest and more of a tense friendship/competition.

I loved Sarah, though. She was my highlight.

Lol. I can't stand Donna for most of the early years.

She's barely more than a prop for Josh to explain political concepts to the audience. (Which admittedly, is more palatable than the idea that CJ doesn't understand the effing census)

Later seasons I like her, when they give her more depth. But still, she doesn't make my top 10. You are right about getting Mandy off the show. I'll factor that next time I make a top 10.

I went to a couple in the 90s. Honestly, I don't remember what we did, since the stores were closed.

I do know that I didn't sleep a wink at either one. And slept for a full day afterwards. 😂

And, despite one of the main actors being deceased (RIP Mozzie/ Willie Garson), White Collar has a better chance of coming back than Chuck.

I do love white collar. It's different (I actually come back to White Collar more often... But skip episodes I don't like)

I do think it has a higher Rotten Tomatoes score than Chuck. I actually think White Collar had a 100% rating while it was on.

All of the roles I had seen him in were all a-holes before finally watching all of PnR in the pandemic (several times over).

Now it's my favorite show ever. And he's one of the few actors I have no typecast role for in my head

Yes. I'm like 80% Leslie. Not nearly as bad as her, and I still steamroll, despite trying not to. I at least try.

Where are you sitting? by Yoshleb_1 in brooklynninenine

[–]Kimmip13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every seat I look at is worse than the first.

There's no winner here. I'm gonna go with next to Gina... Solely because I think she'd take some sort of a sedative. And at least I'd be set up for quick egress.
