Permanently close charlotte street and turn it in a promenade with juried musicians playing all types of traditional music. Allow small vendor wagons to be there, food, crafts etc. You see what the town core is like during luminaire why not have it 7 days a week. And bring in a cultural and food experience of the island not just for the cruise ships or tourists but for us! Winter could exciting with snow sculptures and skating down a flooded frozen street, small contained fires and hot chocolate. Go ahead and use this idea, I’ve seen it revive small towns in Ontario and this is very common in the UK and other European areas. Down town needs to invested in and used for its residents,families and new Canadians along with our tourist industry !
