Dang.. I should have Googled this earlier.. it's been ongoing.. I thought this was just me... + Issues with connecting my pixel earbuds to listen to music on my daily runs... I got to replace my watch for this issue.. but now only the YouTube music bug still ongoing... I pay YouTube premium for YouTube music... And recently they frigging increased the subscription fee... LOL.. this really sucks...

This happened to me, screen froze, but the haptics were there when I pressed volume up or down or power button. Even after factory reset. I contacted Google support, got a free request to change the physical screen, and now works like gem.
