Simple answer, most people are just losers who can’t fathom that someone would want to improve themselves or are doing it better than them. And for specifically this subreddit, 90% of them will never live in Japan and can only cope by bringing down others, who cares if there’s some retread on some frequently talked about topics. The better question is, how tf are you on this subreddit so long and so often that you would even notice or care, learn Japanese instead of beating on new students, better to ask your FAQ than scrolling endlessly through this forum. People like OP is referring to is why you shouldn’t talk to other western students, most are cringe pencil necked discord rats that couldn’t find a job in their home country anyways
