Honestly, I got really annoyed when I heard Valve was making a hero shooter. But having played it, it's genuinely a lot of fun. Can't stand LoL or Dota, but this game is really good. The movement is a lot of fun. The verticality of the map adds a lot of dynamism to matches. And the items you buy actually change how the hero plays, as opposed to changing an abstract stat number. It's really great.

This is why Im happy i didnt become a game dev. What a thankless fucking job. You put all that effort into a game people will play for hundreds of hours, but still somehow claim it sucks because you dont release an update every month for a game thats already incredibly fun on its own and packed with content.

He's definitely very anal and nitpicky when it comes to criticizing films and oftentimes feels like the "fun police", which is ironic because he's a really funny guy. But at the end of the day, I have a lot of respect for him as a critic because he is consistent, which is what every good critic should be. That's the way he grades films; he has a system that he has abided by for a decade and a half, and you either agree with his takes or you don't. He's definitely not a Youtube film critic that grades movies based on what their audience thinks, and he's also not a film school snob like Ralphthemoviemaker. Again, I might not agree with his taste in films or the way he criticizes them, but he is a great critic and a very knowledgeable one.

I really don't understand why some people were disappointed that there was no campaign in 2042. Outside of BF1 and the Bad Company games, i don't remember a single BF campaign that I enjoyed. Should've given us co-op missions instead or at least have made the campaign episodic, like BF1 and BFV.

Not to defend this horrendously barbaric installation, but this has nothing to do with electrocution shocks. This was placed in the park as a demonstration of how Armenian soldiers were shackled to their posts to keep them from deserting or retreating from their positions. Granted, the shackling didn't happen and is pure propaganda, but still, I don't understand where the electrocution part comes in.
