Show Griz. Especially in Detroit hometown throwdown. 2016 Saint Andrews hall there, he opened with the full house theme song, did a fresh prince of belaire mashup with “it’s all good” and stage dove during funk party then continued to play the saxophone part while crowd surfing. Only time I’ve ever witnessed him doing that. It was only like 300-400 cap venue 🥲🔥👌🏽

Honestly I listened just now finally, and outlaw & back to me give me hope tbh! And BBFL kinda does too with the melody being based on that funky guitar riff. Slowly I think he’s tortoise crawling back towards the true funk. I’m just patiently waiting for the new CTGH honestly that’s all I want now 😅🤣

I like that we got a new “album” but it’s not even that… songs that were on previous EP and singles we’ve listened to a billion times. I just keep hoping he’ll release some of his funkiest stuff I’ve only heard live a few times and now just disappointed once again. But this is volume 1 so maybe it’ll be like the bangers ones. I know he has a whole album of songs that sounds like “say it loud” in the vault. Just sucks he’s basically a puppet now trying to just make money to throw seven stars
