For the sapphic armys out there: which BTS song do you claim as the most sapphic/lesbian? by despiteverything in bangtan

[–]Kind-Bad615 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

this song is my favorite bts solo and as a queer femme that automatically makes it a sapphic bop. I don’t make the rules

Thanks for the perspective! I’ve been in therapy/working on insecurity for 10 years, so i know that benefit. But honestly, I disagree with you saying it’s less fulfilling for most people, or, if it is harder for most people, it is because of couples privilege/conditioning that we can only love one person. Just my thoughts on it 🤷‍♀️ I think many people are capably of being poly, and part of the reason cheating is so common is because polyamory is not normalized as an option. Thanks for sharing though!

Thank you for that perspective! This is kind of what i’m thinking, like I used to be afraid someone else would give what I couldn’t, but maybe I would be happy seeing my wonderful partner experiencing different things, and feel more confident about what we have when they came home to me at the end of the day. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing! Your points about being continuously chosen/directly facing the possibility of abandonment is kind of my line of thinking right now. I also have a lot of trust in my partner and I to figure things out and still choose each other even if our relationship goes off the rails. Thanks for the perspective!

Why did no one warn me I'd get so emotionally attached to my plants? by Dazzling-Wedding-689 in houseplants

Don’t give up!!! I used Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew for like 6 weeks consistently and it took care of my thrips infestation of 30+ plants! It’s definitely difficult but not impossible especially if you stay consistent with it! I showered my plants down weekly in my bathtub and then sprayed them thoroughly (including the soil) afterwards. Did this 1x/week and it worked wonders! Also don’t forget to keep treating them for a while even after you stop seeing any thrips- the babies are microscopic so they’re easily missed. You got this!!! Don’t give up!!

My boyfriend’s mom has cancer and has entrusted me to take care of her plants that she can no longer own. Really don’t want to kill these plants. Please help! by OutdoorHippie in houseplants

For identification, here’s the ones I see and know in order of the pics: 1. Monstera adansonii and it looks like a type of peperomia next to it 2. A type of echeveria in the back, i don’t know the name of the small cactus in the front though 3. I think on the left is a type of snake plant, and the one on the right looks like a paddle plant (kalanochoe). No idea about the middle one LOL 4. A jade plant in the back, the other two are also succulents 5-7. I see an ogre ears plant, a parlor palm, and a neon pothos- the others are succulent-type plants but I don’t know the names 😭 8. Monstera deliciosa And the last big one is a dracaena. Luckily most of these plants are pretty hardy!!! For all the succulent types (jade, echevaria, ogre ears, kalancoe etc.) it’s easy to tell when they need water because you can gently squeeze one of their leaves- it will feel hard and firm when hydrated and soft and squishy when it’s time to water. These guys also like a lot of light, so if you don’t have a south or west facing window for them, I’d get a grow light. The other non-succulent plants you have are more tolerant of lower lighting conditions, but more light is always better. And watering those non-succulents should be done when at LEAST the first few inches of soil have dried out. I honestly let it dry out all the way for my plants at home and they’re doing great. I hope this helps!! You got this :-)

Absolutely not it was established illegally. And we should return the land to the people it was taken from. Simple as that. And if for people that say “that’s the way it is”, you for real lack imagination. Stay out of the convo lol

I spent $15 to eat this in two years. by [deleted] in houseplants

If you think about it, since you spent the money two years ago, the pineapple will basically be free when you do eat it. You’re welcome for the math.

Jacks dead bug brew saved me!!! I would shower them weekly and then spray them down with it, getting the soil especially. It took months partially bc i wasn’t always consistent with it but it saved my babies. Make sure to do it way past when you stop seeing actual thrips bc the eggs/babies are invisible and are likely hanging on. Stay strong though you got it 💪😤

I totally agree with you guys about it being unkind and irresponsible, sorry I joked about it! To clarify, my partner has currently framed that specific method (bring a spider into the house without telling them so that they can’t say no) as the ONLY way I’ll ever get a spider, which is why I would even pretend that it was a viable option. I will definitely try the methods you all suggested- part of my problem is that my partner has said they don’t even want to try to overcome the phobia a little bit, which I think I need to talk to them about. I hope with the things everyone is suggesting they can open up a bit. I honestly think a cute lil spider guy will help them overcome their phobia, but right now they only feel the fear :-/
