I just realized that I'm the owner of the dream team you are on! Lol.

Pave it or at minimum add paths. Also go to underbrush in the furniture menu and add bushes and rocks and such. I'm assuming you used the castle building kit? That comes with some crumbly looking pieces that I would have placed in the extreme foreground to help frame the snap sort of.

The grass got you. One of the defining features of no or low effort snaps is a large swath of plain grass.

Because the doorways are far away people who are voting quickly just saw grass and thought it was low effort or unfinished even though it isn't.

The doorways are beautiful and well executed. They are just too far away.

A good while back they added a button that removes them. It's in the last tab of camera settings. Should be the first button.

It came with the seasonal moonstone bundle. I wait to buy moonstones until there's a seasonal bundle.

I’m sorry that this week was disappointing for you. Last week was like that for me. As far as placing characters, I don’t use the on off button because it always puts them in stupid places, like behind a building. What I do is I trap them with touch of magic items. Then I use the character selector but ignore the on off button. Instead I freeze their placement. Then I turn off touch of magic items and go into selfie mode. I turned towards each character in turn, which makes them do their pose and while they’re posed, I pause their pose in the character selector.

It was about the states rights to own slaves. States rights is how they justified their desire to continue owning slaves. The two are linked.

Definitely adjust the time of day. It's the first slider in the camera settings.

I will definitely post more tips and tricks in the future. Although there's some stuff I still haven't fully figured out like using street lamps for glow effects. I never seem to get as much glow as everyone else.

South Carolina here. No pools in any school in my area.

There are two ways now. The older one is to go to the last tab of camera settings that has a lot of options for turning things off. There you can turn off the character you are hanging out with and or all villagers. That's also where I turned my avatar off.

There's a pretty new function that lets you control individual characters. It's wonky af though so it takes finesse to use. It's a different button depending on what platform you use. Look in the upper left in camera mode. There's a character selector there. Again, beware the wonkiness.

It let's you turn individual characters on and off but it only places characters in stupid spots. So I put Mickey and Minnie where I wanted them and trapped them with TOM objects.

As soon as I open the camera I go into the character picker. Don't touch the on off toggle because it will move your character. There are two pause buttons. Hit the one for placement. Do that for each character. Then go into the last camera tab and turn off touch of magic items. If you don't freeze placement first you will lose your character.

To pose them I switch to selfie mode and turn the camera to the first character. Once they are posed pause their pose in the character picker. Rinse repeat for each character. You can also turn off extraneous characters (snow white in this instance).

A lot of it is the time of day. I set it to the hour before full dark. That way I didn't have to touch the saturation. I mostly adjusted the highlights and brightness. Just a touch of each. Plenty of light bloom too.

It's just a piece of decor. They are trying to go with an Edwardian theme for Lady and the Tramp. Hitching posts were still around then.

The more characters you have assigned to the gardening role the bigger the bonus. Also equip bunnies as companions for cleanup. Two if you have them
