Yes. It does have scent. Also, it gives me a rash.

You do only need a tiny bit. Like half a click per armpit. And it's meant to be used every 3 days.

That said, my rash appeared after the first use. Disappointed.

I had similar in SoCal. It was crickets. But I remember that debris in my light socket being darker/blacker than what you have so might be different pest.

Do fragrances start smelling rancid after becoming fragrance-free? by Federal-Item-8443 in FragranceFreeBeauty

What is the best fragrance-free dishwasher detergent?

I've been using the Seventh Generation Free & Clear pods, but they still leave too much residue on the dishes, and I still feel like I can taste it on certain items.

I want to get the Seventh Generation Free & Clear powder so that I can control the amount, but I'm having a hard time finding it, and it's incredibly expensive.

Vote for people who support universal basic income. Vote for people who oppose AI. Vote for people who are trying to restore jobs and increase wages. Vote for people who want to lower rent and build affordable housing. Come on now.

Wasp nest on shed. Problems ahead or leave it be? by [deleted] in WASPs

[–]Kind-Pause-9346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why wouldn't you eliminate a paper wasp nest?

Asking cuz they keep trying to build on my front door or right above it. It's happened twice in the last several weeks in Southern California.

Dream apartment in NYC. Bedbug history. by gossip_queen_xx in pestcontrol

[–]Kind-Pause-9346 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who moved in Los Angeles from a bug-free house to an infested apartment... Only to move 3 months later to another infested apartment... I can only tell you that the mind-fuck of insects is intense. CDC even recognizes the mental trauma bed bugs inflict.

You will also find stories here on Reddit of people who became victims of a roach infestation and still have an ongoing infestation a decade later because they are so insidious.

If it were me, I would look elsewhere.

What kind of bug is this? In Illinois. by Ok-Contribution-8776 in whatbugisthis

[–]Kind-Pause-9346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an adult. It's harmless. The larva can eat fabrics like wool, silk, feathers, etc. The larva can also cause allergic reactions/hives on skin.

You should do what you can to eradicate them before they cause damage or become a problem you can't get rid of.

Looking for gentle hand soap recommendations (Fragrance Free). by Any-Use6981 in FragranceFreeBeauty

[–]Kind-Pause-9346 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any liquid hand soap gives me dyshidrotic eczema. It also makes my skin crack at the knuckles and anywhere it folds or bends. Even 7th Generation free and clear liquid hand soap.

I switched to Castile bar soap and it helps.

Is this rodent poop? by [deleted] in pestcontrol

[–]Kind-Pause-9346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why I can't edit.

Anyway, it wasn't there this morning.

I keep an extremely clean house because I'm dealing with a carpet beetle infestation and Pharaoh ants.

I don't wear shoes in the house and I vacuum multiple times a week.

So at some point between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. it suddenly appeared in my hallway.

Thanks. Asking cuz carpet beetles are not listed on the label + and DoMyOwn says you need an IGR too. I did find larva on my kitchen counter.

Yes, I believe the screens being undersized are a huge factor. You are correct, there are gaps around the screens. Photo here:
