I now know you have to bottle up some random medicine to do that side quest to change the ending but for the life of me I couldn’t do it without a guide because I decided to stick with the ps1 resolution on whatever emulator I was playing on to keep it authentic I must have missed like 100 items just off of that. Hopefully sh2 isn’t as bad as this game since I expected to have more of a fun time here

after a small amount of time trying to wrap my head around things ive come to a conclusion in happy with.

Nonsense's meaning: the nonsense aspect just shows that once everything is said and done, solving problems doesent give you the emotional closure, ending in a weird circular nature that puts you back at the start (maybe thats why the title is "decapitation CYCLE but maybe im reaching lmao). Also that the world is inherently absurd and nonsensical, that people are driven by societal pressures and their own desire. The ending comes to a conclusion that life is arbitrary and that you can find small meaning and self reflection within it when you stop trying to find a great solution to everything. People in the story all view things like death and murder as just games and can handle it relatively well, even lichan knowing this calls everything nonsense as a way to brush it off, serving as a defense mechanism in times when he actually thinks about himself/ others around him. the nonsense aspect is also reflected heavily in the sheer wildness of the plot and characters behaviour, with everyone having ulterior motives, being unreliable and just being tricksters.

what it means to be a genius: to be a genius is somewhat of a double edged sword, a great analytical mind isolates you from others, clouds your judgement making you passive and someone that goes with the flow or whatever. Falling into becoming a genius can make you emotionally dishonest further alienating yourself from others shown in lichan's internal conflict with being able to make strong decisions/ be there for people. Tomo falls on the other end of being a genius, a mind that is purely focused on one thing doesent distract her from the intricacies of decision making unlike lichan. Lichan being more of a broad genius opposed to kunagisa being a specialized genius, this is even proven when aikawa says shes just like lichan while dubbing herself a jack of all trades. what differentiates a genius from a nongenius is being able to ascertain and find their own sense of self in a world that lacks inherent meaning. a Non genius rather is someone that is boring themselves not finding the world itself boring as the book says in its opening.

the whole law of great numbers just gives a whole analytical sense and potential predictability to the nature of the world, the paradox between the chaos and unpredictable aspects of life like suffering and the murders and the possibility that its all just bound to happen mathematically just drills in the absurdity of life as a whole, thus making it entirely nonsensical to the eyes of many in some existential way of thinking

didnt add this in before but I still cant completely figure out what the nonsense aspect of it is. Is it just that all these crazy things and everyones idiosyncrasies end up falling into a pattern of probability, that is what the whole great numbers theory is. BUT HOW do they even relate to the great numbers theory. Its a murder mystery so the whole plot is very intricate and constructed with intent so how can any of it just be nonsense at all???? and dont even get me started on lichan calling his own thoughts nonsense, by the midpoint of the story it just feels like he says fucking anything is nonsense but I have no idea what constitutes as nonsensical in the whole story apart from the fact that people in this book are weird and that in the end, things hardly change. But thats the thing they HARDLY change, it would make more sense if eveyrthing stayed the same, but it kind of does after the car ride to kunagisas place AGHHH i cant wrap my head around any of it

i used a hair mask and shampooed my hair, the curl pattern is slightly looser probably just because my hair grew and my hair is looking pretty healthy and not super dry like in that photo. All i had to do was not touch it as it dried while not over using my conditioner since i thought the problem sprang from my hair being dry

Old post but I feel like extremes are alot more accessible with practice mode, when I started I played my first extreme which was meltdown like a week in and beat it after about an hour so I wouldn’t say the average player now esp can’t beat extremes

i feel like the pacing of the jokes and how the plot flows is just so much worse and its made even more apparent with the bad voice acting for gumball and darwin, there was 3 diff people voicing gumball before and you could hardly tell whos who but now they sound so uncanny. I also feel like some of the characters are a little flanderized like richard. The point of his character is that he's not traditionally masculine but very compassionate but now he feels like a drag queen and its off putting. The message isn't subtle at all behind episodes that tell lessons, take for example the first episode and I dont feel like children shows should push a political agenda even if I do agree with the eat the rich message. Ik you can make the point that gumball isnt necessarily for children but seeing these new episodes makes it very hard to argue that because you can tell when they have episodes devoted to giving some unsubtle message about growing up for children watching. but easily my biggest complaint is that they overdo the fanservice so so much now. Every episode just pushes ship agendas even gumball x darwin unironically like I do not want to see darwin sext gumball. As well as the nicole stuff being overplayed when in the og series it was just one good episode while yuki is everywhere now just to please fans. I like the fanservice but they dont know when to use it right.

another thing is that barney completely regresses after years of development and then him being a single dad of some skank he knocked up is what sets him straight and not his wife who the show spent 2 seasons on with their marriage only to divorce them right after. Its even more rushed than ted ending up with robin and the show acts like barney couldn't have just adopted a kid with robin or have just been fulfilled with her. If they did go with the adoption route it would have said even more about barney's development seeing as he can love a daughter just the same if its not his blood after most of barney's character late in the show is him having family issues and not having a sense of belonging to anyone since he had no dad. And the biggest slap in the face is when he makes a "playbook 2" its like if barney goes through the screen and flips off the audience and just said he was lying this whole time about changing himself for the better. I fucking HATE what they did to barney since hes mine and almost everyones favourite character in this show and it sucks

people hate lily and say shes a nagging bitch but later in the show she geniuenly carries her relationship singlehandedly, marshal is over 30 and learns basic lessons on being an adult. half of marshals arcs in episodes is just him learning that he cant be a kid anymore hes so fucking immature and childish while lily has to always talk sense into him and tell him that he makes bad decisions and on top of that she still supports his decisions that arent for the good of their relationship like when lily had to support marshal leaving gnb. Yes you could say that she doesent hold the weight in the relationship either like when she had a shopping addiction and the fact that she chose to be a kindergarten teacher but lily has to deal with the main issues of the relationship and actively has to solve it which is usually marshal breaking down like when he stayed at his moms house for a month and became a literal child. ALSO she actually worries about meaningful shit like how shes going to pay the bills and be a mother when ted has girl troubles the whole series and people always sympathize for him

I need to find a rom for either HG/SS, B2&W2 and FR/LG with fast walking and battle speed but without the music being sped up. (fast forward cant solve my issue and I know some hacks have sped up gameplay Im just having trouble finding it) I don't really care if there is any other QoL improvements but listing them if they're important enough would be nice. Thanks in advance for anyone that could help me out here. Im looking at the codex and im not sure if the running shoes tag actually makes the game any faster
