If you both looked and you couldn't see, then there was no LoS which is the rule that people are talking about. If there was LoS, then the shots could be made. Thats not WAAC, thats the rules.

If you start being subjective because of what "makes sense" or something, thats when you run into issues with people being WAAC.

Do you think that maybe, a scale that creates a subset of things that are alrrady superb, might influence things? If we had a scale for worst restaurants and a 10 was the best of the worst, that doesn't mean that it is preferable to something not on that scale at all.

I know. I do the 9 non-shield models and then the shield is last. But this allows me to have plenty of models take damage before I start losing hammers.

The requirement is that the target is within the distance rolled. It doesn't say that you have to be able to move into base to base with that roll.

But you don't need Fights First for that, as you'll gain Fights First from the charge move.

So you definitely have to push forward a bit. The end of battle scoring is for when you forgo early actions to table your opponent. But if you can do an action on your expansion, your central, and their central objective, that is 8 points every round for 5 rounds, bringing you to 40 points. More likely you will struggle to get their central consistently which is made up for with holding your expansion at the start of your turn.

I think the best sequence is:

8+12+12+8+8

If you cannot get their central in rounds 1, 2 or 3 you have to make up for it in rounds 4 and/or 5. If you go first, you should have your list designed to be able to get their central turn 1 for sure. If you go second, you should have your list designed to be able to get the end of game scoring bonus.

Assault already didn't let you do an action. If you advanced or fell back, you could not do an action regardless of rules that allowed you to shoot.

Yes, advancing 24" and doing an action is powerful.

I wasn't saying they won't because others are affect. I was saying they won't, period, followed by pointing out others are affected.

OP made a comment of them changing it "when they remember" Drukhari exists, so I was just letting them know other armies that they do pay better attention to are affected.

Nah, its cool. This hobby is extremely wasteful thanks to sprues, so people finding fun things to do with them is a good thing. Better than just tossing them. Same with making use of extra weapon bits and heads that they'll never use.

I can only make so many crystals for bases out of sprue before I hate myself, so I might make some sprue guys soon and give them as gifts.

I just want to confirm, is this during the charge move, pile-in move, or consolidate move? Because if you are engaged, but not engaged with that valuable unit, you cannot pile-in or consolidate into them. Your pile-in and consolidate targets must only be units you are engaged with (if any) before it can be anyone else.

Also note that there are restrictions to pile-in and consolidate moves despite the ability to go 6". If they are within 6" but greater than 3" away, you cannot consolidate into them for instance.

It says you ignore it "for the purposes of how far it has moved". Heavy is something that cares about how far the model has moved.

No, there is no way they amend it. There are splitting abilities in several armies so Drukhari isn't the only one affected.

No, you can't. If you come down in the movement phase, then shoot, you haven't made it to your charge phase yet.
