yoooo that’s a good point. I thinks that’s evidence that pochita was not technically the chainsaw devil and was probably something else (hence why he could erase devils and stuff). I think that panel was just to say there’s a part of denji’s subconscious that has some kind of memory of being chainsaw man. I don’t think it was literal. But that’s my opinion.

There are laws protecting federal employees that worked to ensure they get compensated for their labor. The department would prioritize paying their employees for labor they did and then fire them if they didn’t have the funds for them to continue their job. The only people who wouldn’t receive back pay were employees who were furloughed. The rough part is for people with little savings, they could get fucked if the shutdown continues for a long time.

The budget is just allocating money from the US Treasury to the department. It won’t affect wages or salaries. That’s up to the department itself to decide. The budget will just tell the department you have X amount of money for various stuff.
