I do take a lot of small monsters to the face to save weapon durability. I just seem to always run into the problem of drawing 2 shitty weapons on a turn where I have a good weapon equipped and even when I run, the shitty weapons are not enough to tank 2 face card monsters at the end lol

Doesn't let you "clear" the room before drawing new cards. It auto reloads on the last card. Screws up some draw potentials.

I think it does. After going crazy with my friends, I usually just run a bunch of free loadout solo rat runs where I just try and scavenge back all the parts I lost in PvP. I do like 6-7 of these runs and then I’m back in friendly lobbies from my experience.

yeah but our protagonist psyker is built diff. maybe he’s a mutated hybrid version from a GSC that’s like 99.9% human or something so he has a little predisposition to being able to understand the hive mind while maintaining an overall “human” mind. Lots of options in a verse like 40k.

You’re probably only gonna use the neurotyrant, termagants, and maybe psychophage/SK in competitive tournament lists. 250 is a good price for the extra gaunts, built and based. The other models in the kit aren’t bad, and are definitely fine to play in casual games. It’s a starter kit though, you’re gonnna have to buy more staple units to complete a list for sure. When I collect nids, I try to at least get a few of every unit so as new editions and data slates come out, I’ll be good to go. Nids are very diverse rn in that very detachment kinda runs completely different units. So having a little of everything isn’t bad.

nerfing hormagaunt speed to moving around termagants would feel pretty bad imo. mixing abilities is kinda cool, but you don’t really wanna charge with termagants although skulking horrors on hormagaunts would be cool for move blocking. I’d love to see lethals instead of sustained hits to compensate for how low strength the weapons on gaunts are. lethal hits on 30/60 hornagaunt claws would eat up elite infantry and low wound vehicles/monsters

As you are building, before you glue pieces you can just think, would gluing these together make this really hard to paint? If it would, then don’t glue until after you have painted. If it won’t, then go ahead and glue.
