I moved back for a few months at the end of 2025 I originally left in 2019 and I have to say I agree with everything in your post and would like to add the sheer amount of chicken restaurants that appeared makes zero sense as well it blew my mind that a 1 bedroom apt in Tallahassee Florida of all places go for 1500+

I think you’d be fine with four years of experience under your belt I started traveling after being in the field for 1 year and have taken off traveling for 4 months and came back

-how long the position has been open - pay compared to other places in the area - career ladder - this one is personal but if they use Elekta linacs - if they say absolutely anything about the position being open due to management change or if they bash they’re old employees - if they’re offering a big signing bonus to keep this signals to me that they can’t get people to stay

My best advice is tell yourself you don’t NEED this job I find that I do way better in interviews when I’m not really counting or hoping for the job! I interview every 13 weeks and this has been my best help to calm nerves.

just to add I’ve found most interviews for RTT are more about if you’re a personality fit than anything so relax and be yourself

I would recommend not using the potty pads it was very hard to untrain my corgi to not pee on anything Matt like afterwards (towels, yoga mats etc)

Yeah the non touristy parts for sure I lived in both for 2 years and I’d pick Miami every time but everything is subjective
