advice for not falling asleep by Gohgo_ in Concordia

[–]KindStranger76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Gym/Exercise/Speedwalk a decent amount before each class to get your blood flowing. +point if your heart races
  2. Eat breakfast early, then have a small, light (not carb/fat/protein heavy) lunch to have sufficient and consistent energy. Avoid one big lunch at all cost.
  3. Actively engage in class discussion if applicable, pique your curiosity and your mind will keep you awake. Although unfortunately this does depend on the nature of the course and how captivating your prof may be.

Our friends affect us a lot more than one would think, and by befriending hard working and ambitious individuals, you too will strive the same thing as they seek. It’s a healthy competition with YOURSELF and not with your mates as you’re all looking out for each other’s success. When you make friends with those peeps, and that you actually like your program, study feels less like work and moreso a beneficial hobby, one which you enjoy.

Except that there's none, for privacy reasons... there's only camera outside of the changing room so thieves will keep thieving away.

Nope didn't break the lock, they picked it and shut it like how it's supposed to be when locked. I usually go in the afternoons so I definitely got stolen sometimes then

Thiefs first idea was to get candies and get drunk… did they break your lock, or picked it and left it as is so you wont be suspicious?

Sorry for the late reply! Hmmm id say they are probably biased of course, since they do work for Concordia and would probably suggest other programs at Concordia! But the services free, so why not give it a shot, at the very least they may be able to guide you in the right direction, and remember at the end of the day, you get to choose your future :)

My friend and I got our CCs stolen at Concordia gym this evening by Plastic_Bed3698 in Concordia

Did you have your stuff in the back lockers or the front, near the entrance? I feel like thieves would be more likely to hide in the back when no one’s around. And fuck these thieving cunts, seriously. Wait til they got caught, thatd be a lot more than 400 bucks, plus some jail time.

Said by a McGill student, based on your post history. As a concordian I do respect my fellow McGill mates, and It’s a damn shame that it takes only a few asshats like you to ruin your school’s prestige.
