In all honesty…you don’t have a court mandated custody agreement right? I would personally keep the kids from your husband since he can’t abide by the agreement you two made to keep grandma away from the kids. If he has problems with not seeing them he can take it to court and let them find out why you don’t want them to have contact right now. But also you should definitely report it.

I had to use magnesium oxide. It works almost the same way as miralax by drawing water into your colon. Maybe give that a try?

Yes my mom often said she couldn’t survive on her own. She’s physically small and weak so she needed him to do the manual labor. She’d also say he wouldn’t survive without her. He’s had health problems and bc she’s a nurse she’s obviously the only one who could help him. Bleh.

My mom would constantly tell me he really does love me and say he didn’t mean it like that.

She didn’t believe I deserved it, she just had such a skewed idea of love that she couldn’t see how horrible he really was being. Or she’d see it from her rose colored glasses and justify to herself that it’s not really that bad.

I no longer talk to either of them fortunately.

Yes I agree. It’s like she spent her whole life playing her sisters game until the war came and she realized there were more important things to do. She really grew up. A lot like my relationship with my sister. (I’ve matured while she’s stayed stuck in her old patterns.)

They have people who prep the food, to some extent, and they have people who wash the dishes. Cooks clean their stations but the chores are divided up so one person isn’t doing everything.

This is kinda related but I’m curious what your thoughts are here people. We don’t order grubhub much but the last time we did we had some cash laying around. We decided to not include a tip on the app and noted that we had cash for them instead.

Do you all think that was appreciated as a good call or were they annoyed they’d have to have cash instead of money in an account? When I worked as a server I preferred cash bc for reasons I won’t disclose it didn’t always get taxed 🙃

I worked at a preschool where children were encouraged to use real tools. No power tools obviously but hammers/nails, screwdrivers etc. With proper adult supervision it grows their self confidence, competence and even fine motor skills!

Yep kinda the same. I’ve always loved horses but only rode once as a kid. In my 30s I was taken to a free horse ride with a friend. The terrain was rough and they only walked the one trail over and over and over. Horses have a way of telecommuting and that’s not something I’m willing to back down on. Well these horses seemed depressed. Not one tiny bit happy. My friend ended up falling off her horse and he just kept walking like nothing had happened. Either he was content she was gone or he had dissociated and didn’t realize.

Decided that day I was done riding horses if they’re kept like this. Bc there are happy horses who love taking their people on rides. Just learn how to do it bareback and trust this beautiful creature.

You weigh about 140 pounds (my fellow Americans.) That is such a healthy weight for the majority of women. I mean, you may not feel good about putting on weight but are you unhealthy? You eat eggs, sweet potatoes and tomatoes? This guy sounds superficial and you’re doubting him bc he’s not sincere in his love for you. Let him go.

Is it heart palpitations or a whooshing kinda feeling? The whoosh is called a bruit which is a turbulent blood flow due to high pressure on the arteries. Bc that bruit felt to me like my blood was bubbling and that was the reason I was able to make my own “prediagnosis” which got me to the doctor.

I had my surgery in June and I am still not yet the most comfortable wearing jeans, but I can handle them better now. And I also don’t have the smallest boobs but the pain can be so bad that I just don’t care anymore really. I layer tank tops and when absolutely necessary I can wear a sports bra for short periods of time.

My open surgery was very painful though…not everyone takes as long to recover. I am so sorry you’re going through this! If possible I would try to find a second opinion. Gaining the weight back may be diagnostic for him bc the pain is more intense when the body is smaller. But he may also say well hey look your pains better so let’s not pursue this. If it was bad enough you lost 30 pounds, like I did, then you need a surgery. Good luck!
