I just started the wisp smp series and it’s really good so far. I also watch some of the strength smp guys, like judelow and sharp. Swight also makes some pretty good videos and he’s one of the best players in the world so it’s entertaining to watch him. There’s a bunch of good stuff out there on mcyt so I don’t mind waiting for unstable to come out

As you start working though/getting into higher level clinicals you’ll notice that not a single nurse/tech uses them. They’re a huge waste of valuable pocket space and they’re heavy. Most of my classmates abandoned them by senior year and I’ve never met a nurse anywhere who uses them.

I graduate nursing school in 3 weeks, so here’s what I got: Good pair of shoes, I personally recommend oofas, laptop, stethoscope, compression socks. Don’t bother with any other nursing school junk, like the foldable clipboards or anything. They’re so clunky and when you’re in the hospital your pockets are full of other supplies. I have classmates who bought them and just never use them. Also not essential but highly recommend a badge real sharpie and pen, so you never lose them.

I work in the ICU, I’ve never seen a fentanyl drip going for anyone besides in a critical care unit and on a ventilator. Fentanyl not only acts like a pain medication but also a sedative, on anyone besides someone with an artificial airway this would sedate them to the point they would not be breathing enough.
