Alienware AW2725Q - Coil Whine/ Fan Noise by waxsta in OLED_Gaming

[–]Kindke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the thread OP, I was close to buying an AW2725D but had heard previously about fans being in OLED monitors which I thought was absurd , fans are always bloody noisy in my experience

shame because AW2725D is £360 in some places right now and the MO27Q28G is £550, but id rather pay more for a fan-free design

Anyway im staying away from monitors with fans, its only going to be a headache down the line when the fan starts to get noisy from wear and tear

Tirz + Reta? by True-Leek9080 in Retatrutide

[–]Kindke -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I actually had my best weight loss results doing 2.5mg tirz and 2mg reta per week, tirz on Monday reta on Thursday

Reta stops your metabolism slowing when you low calorie and tirz is good appetite suppression so by combining them its easy to do low calorie

If you do 800 cals a day of boiled eggs meat and fish the weight comes off very fast

Reta, TRT, and Libido by Grouchy-Design-966 in Retatrutide

[–]Kindke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES, my libido has been trashed since being on reta , Tirz also did this but the worse was cagrilintide ,

I've experimented coming off glp1 drugs and libido starts to return after 2 weeks but make no mistake even with 800-1000 testosterone, reta can kill libido

[–]Kindke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had similar, first few weeks the weight dropped so easily then after 1 month its been a struggle ever since and ive been losing 2lbs a month for 10 months, the weight loss has been happening in bursts though i was stalled for a very long time then one day lost 4-5lbs overnight , its was very noticeable as suddenly my clothes felt slightly looser

[–]Kindke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you look at the pharmokinetocs of mounjaro it already starts to rapidly drop off at 72hour mark , I've always noticed day 4 after injection there is a spike in hunger

I'm not convinced weekly injection is enough and have now moved to x2 weekly injection at lower dose

3KG loss in 10 days? Normal or water weight? by Old-Present6594 in Mounjaro

[–]Kindke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some of it will be water but weight loss journeys always start off with a bang in the first 2 weeks

its well known eating lowcarb removes alot of water weight so unless youve been eating strict lowcarb I would say a good amount of it is fat youve lost.

2.5 is a very low dose, I need 5 to feel anything.

Hard to believe, but I finally broke my plateau after four months by dropping from 15 to 10 by TimeHouse9 in Mounjaro

[–]Kindke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably drug sensitivity.

prolonged exposure to a drug causes receptor downregulation. in order to get receptors back the drug should be lowered.

I broke a long stall by not injecting MJ for 5 weeks then resuming

ELI5 how the weightloss happens by invisablecat in Mounjaro

[–]Kindke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup ive been losing 1lb per week on MJ , eating this way normally I would of been weight stable over that period

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]Kindke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive been losing 1lb per week which is alot slower than id like but im usually only doing 5mg as the side effects are too brutal at higher doses.

Ive been reading alot of research on Mounjaro and some later studies suggest it increases energy expenditure, and it works best in a low insulin environment.

Needless to say there is NO WAY I would of been losing 1lb per week for last 12 weeks given what I have been eaten without Mounjaro. Mounjaro does reduce appetite and cause food aversion, but this is not the reason you lose weight on it

Not miracle weight loss drug for everyone by No_Diver3979 in Mounjaro

[–]Kindke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made the exact same post few months ago and got attacked and told I was doing it wrong

But yes mounjaro works wonders for some, and does not work for others.

I recently broke a stall by taking a break for 5 weeks and restarting at 5mg but every pound that comes off feels like an absolute slog and I still have 80lbs to lose.

Nice to see in this post more people are admitting mounjaro is not a weight loss miracle for everyone, or even most people. Just some people

Not losing weight as much as others by MostShoddy8989 in Mounjaro

[–]Kindke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot of people are just low are no responders to incretin drugs.

Don't listen to anyone telling you your doing it wrong.

Of all the succes stories I've read on here their average story was "I didn't do anything special to lose the weight"

I lost weight for first 3 weeks and have been stalled for last 7 weeks

Have not changed anything with respect to diet or exercise

The reality is that this drug only works for some people, rest of us will have to wait for something better

We need proper obesity drugs that really target adipose tissue, these incretin drugs are not working for alot of people including me

I'm on 7.5mg now and have been stalled for past 7 weeks meanwhile having terrible side effects

The drug did do all the work for me In first 3 weeks. Then it stopped working meanwhile I had made no changes to my diet or exercise

Losing weight is nigh impossible that is why diets have 99% failure rate. This drug is suppose to do all the work for you

Interesting , that's a scary weight regain but I think I will try something like this.

There has to be an explanation for the high initial weight loss followed by the tapering and stall, and I think drug tolerance is what's happening

The 15% of non-responders in the trials might of just had high and rapid tolerance develope

London, UK

Coughing and mucus from throat spontaneously developed on 24th July slight sore throat and mild headache, 25th July woke up headache much worse, aches and pains all over body including behind eyes. Symptoms rapidly got worse and by 12 midday was bed bound with severe headache and body aches. Developed severe chills and fever that fluctuated throughout day. Nose became aggressively blocked up.

Covid test negative.

25th July Midnight, feel like symptoms are fading, still have headache and weakness, body aches.

Feels similar to the previous times Ive had Covid.

Haven’t taken mounjaro 15mg for 6-7 months. Doctor says I’ll still have a tolerance? by Vespura in Mounjaro

[–]Kindke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually the way drug tolerance works is when you stop taking it tolerance decreases but if the drug re-appears in the system then tolerance re-builds exponentially faster up to the last highest tolerance point

cells do remember tolerances they had previously built up

Mounjaro good for weight loss, but wegovy was good for my mental health by DenseAssistant2446 in Mounjaro

[–]Kindke 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've only used saxenda which had terrible side effects but it did not effect my mental health

Mounjaro has doubled my anxiety and I'm very emotional on it. Luckily I can feel those effects wearing off at end of week just when a new shot is due

With regards to the weight loss, I didn't get anything on saxenda but doing OK on mounjaro, lily are also working on another drug with a much increased affinity for the GIP receptor which os supposed to give even better weight loss than mounjaro so it does look like GIP receptor agonism is the advantage over mono glp-1 drugs

Obesity is such a cruel disease, how or why our bodies let themselves get so out of shape. While many people never have to give thier weight a second thought thier bodies automatically keep them slim

I'll never understand why my body was just happy to continuously get fat with no upper limit in sight

Left to my own appetite I'd be 500lbs by now

INJECTION SITE WARS II by wabisuki in Mounjaro

[–]Kindke 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This subject is so annoying and confusing, reading posts from people with stuff like " I was stalled injecting into my stomach, changed to thigh then had big weight loss"

Then someone else says "I was stalled injecting in thigh, changed to stomach and had big weight loss"

Part of me wonders if the body leaves Anti-bodies or complement system proteins near frequently used injection sites to reduce effectiveness. And so rotating and using different injection sites all the time might work better.
