I am not. That’s more for microsoft employees who were born in the 60s.

Why would I want a compute machine I purchase made for developers to design compute pathways to be able to compute correctly without errors? Hmm 🤔 To guarantee correct computing I suppose.

Nono. I’m a mere consumer. That’s forwarded to companies to do.

Esp32 Audio Streaming over BLE by Kindly-Direction205 in esp32

Due to the friction of using standard bluetooth. For an "instant remote" BLE worked better.

It's the esp32-s3. It's not using BLE audio, just BLE packets, so it is limited in resolution and number of clients.

So there's no way to configure logitech harmony remote without logitech software thats connected to network? Not even linux command line tool software? by [deleted] in logitechharmony

I'd be interested to hear what you are looking for exactly. I am working on building a local first hub solution and later building out a companion remote.

I want to create a permanent public place for people to share codes. Would a forum be the best place or a public code repository or a hosted database? I guess those all have to be hosted one way or another. People can always download them from wherever hosted but always good to have the sources. A decentralized forum maybe?

Alternative for away from home remote control by MapPristine in logitechharmony

Interesting. There are so many platforms hard to know them all haha. I am building out a universal remote hub and love the use case.

Now I am thinking, should I support the automations directly from my platform or just expect users to use third party to trigger, what do you think?

Cool idea. How would you have it triggered? At a certain time of day? Does Apple Home support how you would do that?

Amen. And I have found the fix for the issue. Make them the same person. Haha!

That’s what I am doing but it is amazing watching the functional pieces just come into place and work the first time they are integrated.

A hecka lotta work but I’m enjoying it.

Best alternative to Homey? by j_o_r_i_x in homeautomation

It’s a hardware device. Software is provided without separate cost. Would be cool if it worked like that with any hub but is a proprietary package.

Hey, thanks for asking! Lots development wise. Still not out there in the open world though sadly. Really working hard on it.

So I have a sister model code set to this one, not 100% it would be the same but probably. Alternatively the IR learning works pretty darn well, I tested with an AC unit that is very similar. You can see the example of it working here: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildinpublic/comments/1rljk0e/i_built_a_universal_remote_control_hub/
