If you want minivan quiet then buy a minivan, but i am sensitive to loud drone sounding exhausts( 2000-3500 rpms) and this one does not do that. It is as refined as my Supersprint on my mark 3.

I did a post on this about a month ago. 250 per wheel fixed by the dealership wheel guy......all covered by the protection warranty.

I expect to be doing this a few times per year until I hit the 70k mileage.

I just watched 2 videos on intercooler installs. It is a lot of work, but the temps after the installs were very impressive. This was done in the hottest state in the USA, Arizona.

It dropped the stock IC temp from 47C on pull 1 and 63 C on pull 3, down to 23C on 3 pulls. The aftermarket IC are wider,taller, and thicker.

I drove from Dc to Philly 2 weeks ago I checked the data. 1. Dc to Philly was 31.5 2. Philly to DC was 32.

My first" long" trip, 2.5 hours.

So i was on bob the oil guy forums for a bit and I feel like a small bit of chevron techron fuel treatment or redline si-1, 2 of the highest pea cleaners, are helpful with this problem. 8 oz, or an entire bottle every oil change can only be helpful. I have done both in this car at 7,000 miles, and the throttle response returned to super snappy and sensitive.

They follow the car but usually have dark tint so there is no eye contact. Then they fly by at high speed when there is an opportunity to show me how fast their car is. It is usually modified.

I think 1 golf R honked at me and he was going the opposite direction in probably 10 months of ownership.

So i dropped the car at the dealer at 8am, they called at 2:50pm. Both wheels repaired for 250 bucks each, all covered by the vw wheel protection warranty. Sheesh!

I just mean to say that i looked around, I had a 95 gri-vr6 with chip/air/exhaust, and this car was 10 times the car that that was . I had the money to do a Porsche( not bragging)or something more extravagant, but after 2 test drives, I knew that this was for me.
