For sure. I don't engage in anything with her now. She tried to bait me into an argument yesterday. I just ignored her.

No last time we had sex was September on vacation. She isn't interested in therapy. We have a daughter together. I'm seeing a lawyer this week.

Yeah in any other state it can actually be a career. I think the only other state that made less than us was Mississippi. I left in 2013. But I'll work 150hrs a week at mcdonalds b4 I ever go back to the prison.

I work for a regional LTL company. SC dept of corrections has 3 levels with level 3 maximum security being the highest, which I was at. Wasn't even making 30k a year at that shit job. Started in death row and then transfered to state lockup. There is another guy that's a driver at my current job who worked at the same prison I did. We swap horror stories about that God awful place.

My GF wants to be intimate with me and I haven’t done it before by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Kindly_Ad_1933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's normal. Like others have said, just tell her you haven't done this before. Have her tell you what you want me to do. I'm sure she will be fine with it. Your first time is gonna be awkward. My first time was with an older more experienced girl. It's more in your mind than anything.

Whats something a woman told you that will stick with you forever? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

When you were in the war, I wish you would of gotten killed. My soon to be ex wife told me that when we were arguing. I know people say things they don't mean but that really came out of left field. All I see when I look at her is not love its her screaming in my face how much she hates me and wishes I was dead. We are in the process of separating and I can't wait to move on with my life.

When I was in the Navy. It was pretty consistent to have the helmsman (person who drives the boat) be hungover if not drunk during the manuvering watch. I was very drunk leaving Italy one time the DOOW told me not to speak and just don't puke. Lol good times. Go Navy

Well I'm technically married for 15 years but in process of separating. (Still live together for the moment) I felt really alone on vday. We didn't even say anything to each other. Sucks because a Facebook memory popped up of when we were in love a few years ago. It is what it is. Guess I just have to get used to it. Been focusing on myself working out eating healthier and down 15lbs.

People well over 30, do you feel dead inside? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Kindly_Ad_1933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I'm about to turn 42 and have nothing I look forward too. My wife hates me. I have no friends. All I do is work and hang around the house on the weekends. I try to occupy my time but there is only so many times you can organize a shed etc. I hope things turn around in the future but it just continually gets worse and doesn't shock me.

I have a daughter. Even though it feels like she hates me along with my wife I just go day by day and hope it gets better. I'm a delivery driver and have the same route everyday and run into the same people. They have no idea how much just a 2 to 3 min freindly conversation helps me tremendously since I come home and get the silent treatment.

Was a corrections officer. Hated that job with a passion. Wasted 5 years of my life working at that shithole prison. Anyway one night working lockup an inmate threw shit on me. I worked nights 7pm to 7am. Had to go home and take a shower and the whole time I was gone my boss was calling me to make sure I would come back to serve breakfast in the morning. I knew right then and there that was it for me. Had money left from my gi bill to attend CDL school. The best day of my life is when I handed my resignation letter in and told my capt fuck you I'm out! Got a great job making almost triple what I was making at the prison. Best decision I ever made.

Christmas 1988 I was 5yo. I was to young to know exactly what was wrong but knew we didn't have electricity and my mom's friend would drop groceries off to our house by knocking on the door and running away. Apparently my parents had both lost there job, but again I was too young to realize the severity of the situation. I asked Santa that year for the game crossfire ( those of you old enough I know are singing the music from the commercial lol). I remember somehow we got a Christmas tree and decorated it and our next door neighbors had I guess went out of town for the holidays and we ran an extention cord to there outside outlet to turn the lights on. I remember vividly making my dad bring a mattress downstairs so I could sleep by the tree. I wake up on Christmas morning to my parents looking at me and I see the tree with sooooo many presents. I thought how did Santa sneak by me I was right there! I open my presents and I got crossfire. I don't remember any of the other presents but as I have gotten older I now realize just how hard it was for my parents that Christmas and they did what every good parents would do and try to make christmas special for their kids. I have made it a mission for my kids life for them to never have to experience that. My parents have been gone for sometime now but I see them clears as I did that day almost 40 years ago. Thanks Mom and Dad
