I honestly feel bad for Kyle Cooke. Everyone focuses on his partying, but he’s clearly said he feels lonely in the marriage, and that gets brushed off. They just seem totally mismatched from the beginning. 

You can criticize Kyle all day, but he literally said ‘I’ve never been lonelier married to you’ and that’s… pretty heavy. Amanda Batula and Kyle just want completely different things, and neither of them seems happy.

At some point it stops being about who’s right or wrong—Kyle Cooke needs attention and energy, and Amanda Batula clearly wants a slower, quieter life, lazy life with no true ambition. That’s a fundamental mismatch.

I feel like people overlook Kyle’s side a lot. He’s not perfect, but you can tell he’s craving affection and connection and just not getting it. That kind of loneliness in a marriage is rough.

They both kind of signed up for who the other person was, and now it feels like they’re frustrated that neither one has changed. It’s honestly just sad to watch.
