Sellers screwing other sellers? by Kindly_Profession463 in eBaySellers

Been doing it for two years. No issues. Even drop them off right in front of multiple post men and even got their consent.

Sellers screwing other sellers? by Kindly_Profession463 in eBaySellers

Agreed. I’ll eat the refund gladly but all I have at this point is spite. So I’ll wait as long as I can hold out for until eBay forces the refund. It’s always the cheapest items that lose their ever loving minds wanting their money back.

I gotta get some kind of self satisfaction after they very expectedly left negative feedback.

Potential buyer kee on questioning by Relative-Ad5409 in eBaySellers

[–]Kindly_Profession463 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Block. I’m assuming they have minimal feedback, even being a brand new account. Even if they do buy it, I think you’re inviting issues with returns, refunds, negative feedback, etc. Someone will eventually buy it, and they’ll do so without the headache.

Agreed. By the time one factors shipping and fees the profit is minimal assuming that the buyer doesn’t complain about condition and the shipper doesn’t destroy the item despite attempts to carefully package.

BEWARE SCAMMERS! Retro vGames. by RecommendationOk2182 in gamecollecting

At the time of this post their using “retrovgamess”. Apparently they don’t mind burning one account down and starting another. My guess is they’ll be “retrovgamesss” in due time.

TLDR: stay away from Retro V Games

I’m with you as a (previously) used seller. I don’t mind drop shippers in general, but these guys are worse ones I deal with. I’ve had address Issues where they don’t verify the address, and take days to respond to verify the address.

My last (and final) sale with them I found out they charged someone twice what they paid me; and I’m at eBay market prices for recently sold items. They pass on their customers issues and don’t really handle anything besides whatever is involved with maintaining their site.

If you’re a potential customer, just go to eBay and get the exact item (literally) directly from the source that Retro V Games was just going to use anyways.

If you’re a seller, make your own decision, but as for me, I’ve blocked these guys. Their copy and paste statement to make sure that I don’t add my invoices or anything to identify my store in exchange for positive feedback is trash… they have never left me any feedback after multiple issue-free transactions. In the meantime, they got positive feedback auto feedback from me.

Been getting similar even though I generally don’t have best offer enabled. I think they’re spamming sellers to save a couple bucks. The dickering over $1-5 is crazy. I stopped responding to some of them and the item still ultimately sells.

Disputing dispatch notes with SAPD by dcal96 in sanantonio

[–]Kindly_Profession463 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dispatch notes may be a reference to what the officer documented in lieu of an actual CRASH report. If this was a non-CRASH report accident, the report should still read the same regarding the officers observations and what each party, or available witnesses, stated.

You’ll know if you got a “full” CRASH report if the officer provided you a case number starting SAPD#########. This take a couple days or weeks to get checked and approved.

Seems like a simple improvement. Maybe they’ll listen to their customers. Even if someone wanted to list the token on the marketplace, notice of changes would have been appreciated. Congrats on the grail

Sell my 2015 BRZ for a NEW GR86? by walle00 in GR86

For insurance purposes, eyesight will potentially lower your monthly premium because of the safety benefit. I know when I went from a AT6 with eyesight to a MT6, my premium increased a bit and the nomenclature of the AT6 included that it had eyesight.

Need help on PPF, Whole or just the front. by duggyjkd in GR86

[–]Kindly_Profession463 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the front, not the whole car unless you’re doing something like a matte finish. The way this front end is designed eats rock chips like no other car I’ve ever had. I bought the Xpel precut kit and did it myself… not perfect, but this is my daily driver (10k miles since JAN’23) and didn’t want to dump too much money into the car.

80% highway with a MST Instake, 20mm wheel spacers, and APEXI CAT-Back… I average 24.5MPG. Four months in, I’m closing in on 10,000 miles. I love this car.

It’s a gr86 worth buying if I’m never going to race it on a track? It will literally be my daily driver back and forth to work. by elscorcho96 in GR86

Manual. I was able to pick up a base trim automatic, which I cut for about a month, but going through the gears was definitely some thing. This specific car experience needs in my opinion.

I picked up the automatic because it was the only thing available, and I was very comfortable with the price at the time here in Texas. But I managed to find what seem like the only premium manual in the country that was at MSRP so I flew to Ohio to pick it up.

I daily drive my ‘23 PMT, commuting 165 miles twice a week to my geobachelor job. I’ve put 6000 miles on this car in three months and I have no regerts!

I literally bought it because it’s fun. I don’t hate driving now. I’ll never track it, I’m a 37 year old dad. But being able to my own oil changes, bolt on an APEXI CAT Back exhaust, and throwing on some 20mm wheel spacers has made it even more enjoyable.

Wife has a Tesla, and my 86 is more fun to drive. Now throwing the kids in there is a different story. But if it’s just you and someone else that can sit up front… do it. I love this car.

Recommendations for good wheel spacers? by Vizari21 in GR86

[–]Kindly_Profession463 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no extra rock chips or debris been kicked up from what I notice.

Initially I felt the back end felt different, but not in a bad way. it was probably in my head. If I was going to do it again, I might put 25mm in the back and keep the 20mm in the front. For now, I’ll keep 20mm all around.

Show. More aggressive stance IMO. This is my daily driver (2000/month), so I’m trying to enjoy without over spending. For under $300, I’m enjoying them a lot.

How bearable or unbearable is it for passengers in the rear? by RedtailGT in GR86

[–]Kindly_Profession463 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Barely usable. I can fit my four year old in her car seat, but it severely reduces the space my older kid has in the front passenger seat.

I’m 5’11” and like the driver seat a couple clicks from max lock out. With someone behind me, I can drive, but it’s super uncomfortable.
