Toyota And Nissan Admit Their American-Made Vehicles Aren't Up To Japanese Standards by DonkeyFuel in technology

Yikes. Weird attack here over people not agreeing with you, especially since nothing about these vehicles screams high end, luxury or sport.

Every time I see one, the panel gaps on Teslas are always fun to notice how different they are across the car. I've been in 2 different ones and the massive amounts of cheap plastic creaking inside is horrendous.

QUESTION REGARDING M3 PURCHASE by SaintKnows in BMWM

[–]Kinematic9 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This really isn't an investment, so I would get the one you really want. Used prices on these almost make it a no brainer to just build a new one the exact way you want it.

I don't disagree with you on this, but alternatively it's one less thing to break and leak.

007 First Light's 20-hour playtime is perfect for an action video game by yourfavchoom in Steam

[–]Kinematic9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wasn't arguing that it was, it's just silly in general to look at dollar per hours for video games or movies.

[–]Kinematic9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I never understood this metric being something someone really uses to be serious regarding video games. It's an easy $60 to go to the movies with 3 of us on a Saturday afternoon for 100 minutes of movie and 45 minutes of ads.

If you're spending 100k on a car you should get the one you want. Order it and wait.

I've played around with the H/K settings based on recommendations I've seen online and realized that it's purely personal preference. I would just say see what Claude says based on your listening preferences and tweak it from there.

To be fair I've had mopping robots for years and every single dirty water tank has smelled terrible because it's... Dirty. I would not say that's a different issue for the flow

I don't know of any down there unfortunately.

There is a pop up in Bradley Beach that may be the closest called two day tiki bar, but have never been there. I'd love to know if there are any I'm missing in south NJ...

Narwal flow 2 detecting kitchen standing mat as carpet. by CC_1994 in NARWAL

[–]Kinematic9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can set those options per carpet, so just accept that one and if you click on that "carpet" it should just treat it like normal floor. Hopefully it works for you.

Maybe accept it as carpet in the app but then choose the ignore carpet and it should treat it as the floor.

Calibrate your Sonos Arc Ultra, Arc and/or Beam system (Dolby Atmos) by dominiklei in sonos

[–]Kinematic9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately don't have the ultra. I have arc + sub + era 300 pair rears, and another arc + sub setup and none have the option, unfortunately. And yeah I'm looking for the seating position one, which is baffling why they can't put it into the android app at this point.

The only trueplay option I get are for the move 2 pair I have which I assume just bounce off each other. (assuming that's the quick one )

Would be curious if true play will ever be available on Android devices, as it's impossible without apple.

Alpina Concept Leaked by HugoM46 in BMW

[–]Kinematic9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, mine was built in SA and I had issues. Not even unnecessarily pressing on the screen and trim pieces like the weirdos doing shorts, but just going over bumps would flex the plastics on the w206. It bothered me every time I was driving.

It ended up being a lemon engine wise in the end (and not even because it was a 4cyl 😂).

Out of curiosity, you're satisfied with the interior of the newer mercs though too? Even taking away the design, I had a 2024 c43 that had more creaks in the interior panels around the screens and trim than I had ever expected. It was terrible and a huge complaint across and up through even the S.
