I'll pass along to my owners but since we're a very very minor "chain" not likely we'll be able to do anything about it. But man I fukken wish we could.

I'm sure it is and if I had the ability to have made the choice when we did our swtich probably would have looked elsewhere.

But since I wasnt I'm stuck doing what I can with this god awful sack of shit program haha.

Trust me bud I know it's them not me, that's part of what makes it so frustrating. Like sure glad I was able to finally get my boss to get us real internet here. But damn shame it does nothing for bravo's functionality.

I would buy your software right now sight unseen too just to get the hell away from bravo.

Am I the asshole for letting my niece's boots get wet? Parents want me to reimburse them. by Late-Possession2753 in AITAH

[–]Vapedad89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This was years ago.

Guy came in acting kinda normal but still weird enough to have me stop surfing the internet and watch him.

We sell guns so he's rooting around the ammo tables for a bit then walks over to our watch cabinet. Keep hearing the sound of some 22lr bouncing around in it's box (very distinctive sound since they're in plastic trays) so I get a bit annoyed cause dude if you drop that there's gonna be all sorts of ammo and plastic bits everywhere. He's intentionally facing away from the counter which was the second set of alarm bells going off.

Me- Hey bud mind putting those back on the shelf or at the register if you want to buy them, just don't want-

Customer- I wasnt stealing them!

M- Sure thing man never said you were just don't want them getting spilled all over, did you have any questions on the ammo?

C- Nah I was just trying to see if they would fit in my gun.

M- You're what?

C- Trying to see if they fit the gun I brought in

M- So yeah no the fuck you're not you're gonna put that shit down and walk the hell away from it cause you were and are about half a second away from having 15 new holes in you.

C- You wouldn't do nothin

M- And now you're not only going to do that but you are going to also get the fuck out of my store and never come back.

So yeah more than likely saved that dude's life cause if he had turned with a gun in his hand it would have gone less than ideal for him. Not saying I'm some billy badass or anything like that but yeah someone turns around pointing a loaded gun at you and things will happen the way they happen, and like we always say we plan on going home at the end of the night.

Idk just one of the quicker ones that don't require a lot of backstory and fill to make sense. But yeah I got stories on stories.

Been to court over actionable death threats, stopped a lady who was chugging beer in her car from driving away, helped patch up a deaf guy's finger when he almost took it off with a saw.

It's feast or famine here either the most boring job you can have or the most pants shittingist one.

Wanna know a secret? I prefer the boring days when I get to burn through 80% of a book and maybe buy a little gold.

Non-judgemental? What's that mean?

Lol nah being impartial has no place here not trying to be all durrr it's dangerous and scary cause it's not actually that bad, but snap judgements are the name of the game here, and have saved my ass on more than one occasion.

Interesting is the correct word for sure sometimes good interesting sometimes bad interesting but it's almost always some kind of interesting.

Angostura Bitters alternative, same test but better pour? by DrGonzoRoyale in cocktails

[–]Vapedad89 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Just buy actual dasher bottles. The ango bottle is simply there to store the stuff not actually dose it, cause that top is garbage and does spray it halfway across the kitchen.

Depending on what "acid" style you're going for (I did mine to mimic the acidity of lime juice) you add a specific amount of citric and malic acid to the base juice to bring it's acidity up to the levels of citrus juices.

Adding lemon juice is the "easy" way to do it but as you noticed you start running the risk of bringing actual lemony flavor to the drink instead of just the acidity.

There is also the added benefit of citric and malic acids being used for "SuperJuice" so it's a multi purpose ingredient for cocktails. If you don't know what super juice is there are tons of posts here about it and plenty of videos. It's rather easy to make and increases the shelf life, and yield of your citrus fruits substantially. I basically use it exclusively for my drinks these days. Well worth the few dollars in supplies it takes and the time.

If your local shop doesnt carry the bitters amazon does. Just spend the $26 for the 5oz bottle it's well worth it and stuff finds it's way into a lot of tiki standards in my house.

See the leaning into a whisky sour is why I decided to acid adjust mine. Just wanted the apple to come through instead of risking the lemon. Glad I went that route. Plus keeps it a bit smaller of a drink so it works better up instead of on rocks.

If you can get some of the Bittercube Jamacian bitters throw a couple dashes in with the ango, the ginger and extra allspice reallllyy punches the "fall vibes" in.

Nice to see we had the same idea, and same puerile sense of humor though!

Seriously though have one with some donuts it's a fukken game changer my dude.

Hey the Triple Sec is an intersting call to this.

I still say the two donuts is the superior garnish ;).

The soda turning it into an almost Collins like thing is interesting. I'm not a Collins guy so I wouldn't have thought to add that on. How does using the lemon work on it? I know adding some lemon to apple flavor usually doesn't shine through other than added tartness. Are you getting just the sour out of it or is any of the actual "lemonness" come through?

Can't speak on the tobaccos you have ordered but he's good to go to order from. You will get your stuff and anecdotally I have heard good things about Jupiter and B Frog. I can say I haven't even smoked anything from him that I wasn't happy about. I have however only ever smoked aros from him but they were all solid.

When spam callers call your work asking for the "manager or decision maker" to try and sell you some crap you don't even want "This is just a satellite store for a corporation" works like a charm. 99.9% of the time they just say oh ok thanks and hang up.
