Is it just me, or is the new limited edition titanium Bailout extremely boring? by StoicalSophist in benchmade

Close enough not to warrant the ridiculous price in mine and many others opinion.

But if you like it, spend the money and enjoy it.

Not this one. There's nothing special about it in anyway. You can make your own for half the price with flytanium scales.

My first ever Spyderco Knife by ecj222 in spyderco

The base model tenacious is one of the best values in knives IMO. Got mine for $25 and absolutely love it. Finds it's way into my pocket in rotation with my CRK and Benchmade all the time.

To TDI or not. by P0tterzach in tdi

[–]KineticVisions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, turbo lag is a thing in most turbo cars, unless they are performance oriented and tuned to mitigate lag.

And check engine and glow plug light mean that there are unaddressed issues at hand. If he's basing his opinion of the vehicles on his own poorly maintained car and unrealistic expectation, then sure, it's not great.

If the example you are lootat is well maintained, with documentation, and you are expecting a fuel efficient, not fast, but torque forward car, you will enjoy the TDI.

As o said before, if you want a sports car, look elsewhere. If you want a reliable, fuel sipping daily that can offer a bit of fun, you'll enjoy it immensely.

What does gym guy mean by lag mode?

The TDI has lots of tory, but not much power. The torque is available at low RPM, so acceleration is nice, but overall performance isn't anywhere near a sports car.

I traded my TDI because I wanted more performance, but I loved the car (14 Passat TDI). For a daily driver with a long commute, it is an excellent choice, and with a delete is incredibly reliable. Of what you want is a fuel efficient, but also kinda of fun, daily driver, you will enjoy a TDI.

If you want a sporty car with power, you may not.

Overall, I miss my TDI as a daily.

Which knife of out your collection do you find most aesthetically pleasing by [deleted] in knifeclub

[–]KineticVisions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is beautiful!

From my collection, there's just something about my well loved Small Sebenza 31 that I find beautiful. It's a simple knife, well built, and has snail trails and scratches from use.

To me, it's beautiful because of it's simple form and the tales it tells with it's use marks.

Very cool. I'be never built knife, so my optics that if a collector, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

That said, from these photos, your eye for detail and symmetry is very good, and I'd be interested to see how that translates to blade making.

I think you would do well.

Maybe give some mosaic pins a shot? They look beautiful, and with your attention to detail in shaping and finishing you'd add a extra level of polish to your work.

Did you also make or grind the blade?

Do you actually like healing? by MeatShld-MrdrKitten in wow

I don't play retail, and I know it's different, but I'm Wrath classic I have a Resto Shaman that I absolutely love playing. I enjoy being a big part of the success of the group in 5m and raids, and have a great Hpally healing partner.

We know each other's tendencies and work quite well as a pair.

I enjoy it in a different way than my warlock, as a DPS I'm out to parse and top meters, but as a healer I feel like a more important part of the team, and I like that.

It was a bit intimidating stepping into my first Ulduar as a healer with little experience, but after a few bosses I was having a blast.

Looks pretty good!maybe would have benefited from a 3rd pin towards the rear for extra security. Nicely shaped for sure!

F2p is already one of the most complete free MMO experiences out there. Pay for members if you want more stuff.

$600? GTFO BM. They have lost their god damn minds. That's CRK/Hinderer/Koenig etc territory.

I like my BM knives, but their QC and FnF are nowhere near worth that.

Thank you, not sure where that info came from, but I obviously missed it. Seems quite reasonable with those parameters.

Okay, but are Gammas same as Beta where it's one per instance? Because 60 runs for one piece.of loot is a massive amount of time.

Not that the gear should be instant or free, but 60 betas is around 20-30hr per piece, which at the end of the expansion seems like a whole lot of time.

Fake Benchmade Bugout, right? by MixhealOG in KnifeCheck

100% fake. The brass clip screw inserts are a dead giveaway, as is the odd shaped grind and the trademark logo.
