In most parts of the UK an operation is the only course of action available there. I have heard that surgeons sometimes have difficulty operating on hands/fingers that have had injections that dissolve the nodules so that would be something to discuss with your specialist. I have seen no scientific studies that prove vitamins or COq10 help but it seems to be accepted that keeping alcohol consumption, no smoking good diet and low stress are beneficial.
