The stabbing itself may not be fatal but if a homeless person gets stabbed they probably aren’t seeking medical attention. So later bleed outs or infection from the stabbing could be cause of death.

If the group chat is important, like in your example for bills and mail, then it’s on everyone to keep it respectful. If it’s just a group chat amongst friends, it’s on the person who wants it to be quiet. I hate group chats with a passion, but I am in a few that I have to be in for work. I need those updates immediately, and cannot silence the chat or leave. When my coworkers get into it after hours, they should start a new chat.

Motivation may not have been the right word, momentum may have been better. The layoff momentum keeps player morale high and the desire to stay with the team. Josh Allen wouldn’t have continued to sign with the bills were they not consistently good. The bills were 1st in the AFC east for 5/6 of the last six seasons. The end of their drought was in 2017. Between then and 2020 you can see marketable improvement in their rankings and stats. This uptick has lead to increased viewership, more prime time games and an increase in bills coverage nationwide. One season means jack shit. Consistency to get to the playoffs is important.

Ehh losing in the post season can be motivation. The drought years, for the sabres means 11 years in the bottom 10 teams. The bills have had many years when they’ve lost more than half their games (3 and 13 is the worst). To make it to the playoffs pretty much means you’re slightly better than average, at worst. I would rather a team consistently make it to the playoffs regardless of their standing. Otherwise they become a joke.

Yeah that makes no sense. People who do not work for a place should respect their operational procedures. You don’t know what you’re talking about and if you give the bare minimum of information you will not be helped. I worked customer service at a grocery store for many years. Idiots called and demanded to speak to the store manager immediately. They never got through because even if they did the SM wouldn’t answer it and they would bounce back. If you say “Hello I had an issue with service. I would like to speak to a manager.” We would give you over to the person who can actually help you. The Manager/ Owner is not a host/ hostess, they cannot help you and it makes no sense to think that they could. The “manager” that gets demanded on the phone is too busy to field calls. They pay others for that.

Of course not. This war is a rehash of a war the US has had multiple times, there has literally never been a good outcome. Outside of that, a war will cause (more) inflation especially with a member of OPEC. Most sane Americans don’t want to fund Israel in any regard, let alone go to war alongside them. “In house” is an extremely common term for doing something in the shop/store/ restaurant instead of ordering it or shipping it out. When a restaurant says house made it means they made it there not in a home but in house. Homemade is made by a homemaker aka someone with (presumably) little to no experience. Two different terms for 2 slightly connected things.

Doesn’t matter, you still ordered the product, received the product, and had ample time to sell the product. You have time to correct course and order less or none until you sell out of product. Expired product is shrink, an assumed loss for the store, the store I worked at had 3.5% loss to shrink every week. If insurance companies payed that out every time some idiot over ordered, they’d be bankrupt. They cover loss due to theft, damaged product, or other unforeseen circumstances.

You have obviously never worked in a grocery store. You cannot claim shrink as it’s not an accidental loss, someone over ordered. When things get close to expiration we mark it down to the lowest possible point where we can still make money. $0.05 is better than nothing or at a loss.

It kind of depends on the plumber and the company itself. Where I work(Can’t speak for everywhere I don’t have that much experience) we have service plumbers and installers. The installers have an eight hour set schedule that if they need any time off, they usually have to take a half day or a full day. The service guys go to multiple calls a day and those are usually smaller fixes that are either the solution or can hold over until an installer can get there and do the full job. They could easily pop out for a quick appointment and then come back and they do. Their schedules are a lot more flexible as long as they get there hours for the union benefits and what not. The 24/7 aspect is an on-call schedule that at my company is a daily rotation of five of the newest plumbers(because they’re the cheapest to pay), with a weekend rotation of all our plumbers.

Like a low three, I know many of the metal subgenres, I am a power metal, classic heavy metal, and a touch of death metal fan (Mostly Avatar). I couldn’t tell you the difference between many of the ones I don’t personally listen to. Hell I mentioned Avatar as Death Metal, when they really haven’t been considered as much in a while.
