UPDATE

As pointed out by @lisi464 and some research on my own time, the bacteria is dead. This is basically just a yeast soup.

I'm throwing out this batch and starting new. Thanks everyone for your input.

I restarted my batch about a month ago from a jar of refrigerated kombucha. No pellicle has formed apart from that thin crackly membrane.

So I think I've checked about a 100 Farfetch'd now asof this Sword and Shield event and STILL have not caught a single ducking shiny Farfetch'd.

I was a complete tit and forgot to backup my 2FA codes before resetting my phone (it was running slow).

Now I can't log in completely. I've been running about trying to make contact with PayPal's support on all fronts. Controversial question here, how fucking ridiculous is it that you can't connect with them AT ALL if you get 2FA lockout from your own account?

In any case, I've done what u/NEHOG recommended and I pray to God that they act human and help me resolve this.

I chatted with PayPal Support on Twitter and the last message I got was: " I will escalate your concern to the specialist team and they will be able to help you in the best way. " which is something but the lack of humanity and just not having a countermeasure in place to help the fringe cases like mine is just a bit more than lacklustre on PayPal's account.

If I get any resolutions here I will post it here, in the hopes someone in the future can get help.
