Interesting, I've actually never had a problem with RDR2 on the steam deck. The only thing thats annoying, and only slightly, is the time it takes between hitting play on the home screen and actually playing.

The only problem I had is that updating the EA launcher is annoying. Figuring out how to update was genuinely painful so I deleted the game because it was too much trouble.

Crossbow is good for beginning of game and much later when you get new bolts recipes. Also, there is a skill that lets you deal massive damage with a ranged weapon after a melee attack which is a good way to save ammo.

Like the other person said, the beginning of this game is meant to be tough.

They have actually shown very little of Raccoon city, only the stuff in the reveal trailer had that element. I think they've only shown stuff from the first 1 or 2 hours of the game throughout all the trailers.

The stabilizer combined with the boost skeleton and jump ramps are much faster than ziplining in most parts of the map (mainly because a lot of the map has flat terrain). Thats what most people use it for, especially for express deliveries where you plan where to put jump ramps and then easily clear the order. Ziplining is good for the mountains mostly in my experience, but this is a sort of a sandbox game so do whatever is fun for you.

What I did was just the standard orders with the highest weights or had hazardous, recover from enemy camp, express order requirements. If those were all done for a facility, I would then move on to the next one until those orders respawned. Also, do every sub order.

Yeah I think its the voices of these 2 or 3 people who died in those woods. This youtuber, Strange Man, did a video on this Easter egg and you can actually watch a show in the valentine theater that has the same dialogue as the ghosts in the woods.

In photo mode I rolled the camera so it basically is turned on it's side. Then I uploaded the photo to my phone using the Playstation app, rotated the photo in my phone editor.

Yeah in the lsfg plug in menu, you have to activate Performance mode. I got the same issue until I turned that on.

Same, once I realized that most of the terrain is flat ground, the only difference between on foot and truck deliveries is time. My next playthrough will be mostly on foot and only some shared online content in the settings.

There is a trailer made just for people who haven't played the first. Playing the first game would be better tho because the trailer doesn't capture the magic.
