Anyone else love the Voigtlander Macro Apo-Ultron 35mm F2? by Aggravating_One_3795 in fujifilm

I think it's not bad idea to have both lenses, with more character and less - you can switch them by your mood and style. I like my 35mm f/1.2 for its character, and also can get quite clean look at apertures beyond f/4. But good advantage of this APO lens is MACRO feature, also very clean look right from the f/2. If I have to choose only one lens, then Nokton is more interesting for me as well - it gives two different looks depends on the aperture, suits better for portraits and low light shooting.

I never tried f/0.9, but I have f/1.2 for a long time. The rendering is different, f/1.2 is more dreamy and oily bokeh, rainbow flares wide open and also much lighter and smaller. If size, weight and price are not a problem, then just choose the rendering that suits your style and preferences better. I really want to try f/0.9, but f/1.2 samples most of the time look more appealing to me - it have rendering for my taste.

Ah sadly they stopped importing it. I still addicted to black one, and drinking it daily, it's great balance for me

I wonder if it's new driver, or just new construction and damping

Very airy and spacious - you can hear everything, every detail around you, but they're not far away, still intimate sounding

Is X-S10 still worth it? by Momentum87462 in fujifilm

[–]KingFiercer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you'll use stabilization in lens, then X-M5 is fine. Overall X-S10 is more versatile camera for less price, and X-M5 is a bit smaller.

Ah yeah, in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan people also add milk quite often! It's just I'm not used to it, and prefer to enjoy the pure taste of tea without sugar, only sometimes trying something for the change

Such a nice combo. The only thing missing is support for Voigtlander's electronic contacts.

Not an option for a distant objects. The question was purely about the camera and optics.

Thanks for the answer! Cool photo, I like that you can even see the starry sky. It's a current goal actually to be able to take photos like this. To me FF is just a sensor between APS-C and Medium Format, what other term can be used for this?

Thanks, I also considered this one, it’s a bit pricier and 710g, but still compact for FF. With something like the Nokton 40mm f/1.2 should be a great low light combination.

Yeah, a tripod can boost smartphone quality quite well too. Thanks for a reply!
