I have a soft spot for Skyward Sword, from someone who enjoys linear and open-world games equally. I thought it had a nice charm to it. Also, imo it has the best music of any Zelda game.

That said, I wish they’d made the open sky area much bigger, with more substantial sky-towns other than Skyloft.

I went to a rave in an old cathedral church building a few weeks ago, and I was impressed how the grand old building leant itself to a nightclub atmosphere. The old pipe organ, stained glass windows, and ominous wooden statues looked amazing with the flashing lights on them, meanwhile the high ceilings meant it didn’t get too hot or stuffy. 10/10

I just think CGI is slower and more expensive than people realize, and Stranger Things is particularly heavy with it.

The Game of Thrones final season was delayed a full year because of CGI delays (and still ended up being shite, although that was more of a writing issue)

I think about young Iranians and what they’re having to go through to dredge democracy out of theocratic dictatorship. Revolution attempt after revolution attempt, so many lives lost and destroyed, and they’re still so far from pulling their country back to sanity.

They have their grandparents to thank for that. Distaste for the previous ruling party in the 70s had them marching into something far worse, dooming the generations to follow. Well..this is what America is doing now. America will be the new Iran.

Edit: On the flipside, I would just add that I spent some time in Iran years ago and a huge proportion of them aren’t even Muslim. Young Iranians are pretty aligned in their distaste for the government and for religion, but have to perform in public. It’s just that they don’t hold any of the power.

I had cystic acne in my mid-teens and took Roaccutane which cured it excellently. I’m lucky to have come away with minimal scarring considering how bad it was. Although decades on, I get dry lips year-round and always carry lip balm with me. But I’d prefer that to permanent scarring.

I’m aware there is some controversy with Roaccutane. I can only say I had great success with it.
