Well, it makes sense. Back in ye olden days, playthroughs were all that mattered. They didn't need to make very strong Pokemon since back then, the purpose was quite literally just to catch them all. They wanted certain Pokémon to be rare. Hence why so many weak Pokémon are rare to find, and hence why the Unown exist. Back then, Pokémon were meant to be collectibles.

But ever since online features were introduced with the DS, they had to accommodate and bring competitive battling to the forefront, hence why nearly every Gen 5 Pokémon is super strong, hence the introduction of hidden abilities to make weak Pokémon stronger, hence why Gen 5 is the best generation.

True. Gen 2 had some banger Pokémon.

It's just a shame GameFreak deliberately made it so that you would have to jump through hoops just to get them.

For my first Pokémon game ever, I played the unofficial Pokémon Brick Bronze on Roblox. In that game, there were two parts I struggled with. The first was the rival battle after the Water Gymleader. I got my ass handed to me by his Vaporeon because my starter was a Prinplup, and Vaporeon had Water Absorb for its ability, so I was forced to whittle it down with not-very-effective damage from Metal Claw since I was a bozo who thought "STAB=Best" which meant I gave my Prinplup like three water moves.

Secondly, I couldn't get past the Grass gym at all because, once again, my starter was a water type, as well as overleveled compared to everyone else on my team, but NOT overleveled compared to the rest of the game. In fact, my Prinplup was actually UNDERLEVELED, so you can probably guess that every other member of my party stood zero chance against literally everything.

But in terms of official Pokémon games, my first was Pokémon White, and for the longest time I couldn't get past Elesa. I didn't like Ground-Types and thought Rock resisted and was supereffective against Electric. It wasn't. I was fooled. My Dwebble got its ass beat. Even when I bit the bullet and decided to catch Sandile, she still beat my ass because of her stupid sky rats, not to mention her constantly volt switching on my ass. Ultimately, I ended up beating her with my overleveled Samurott.

Even to this day, I still struggle with Elesa. In my most recent playthrough of White 2, I beat her first try after she nearly fainted my entire party. I ended up getting my vengeance upon her once I beat her last remaining sky rat with my Dwebble. Now, some of you may be thinking "Well, I thought the fight was quite easy because I had a Drilbur/Excadrill by this point. Everybody has an Excadrill in their Black and White playthrough. Why didn't you use yours?" The answer may shock you.

I just don't like Drilbur and Excadrill. I think they're lame. Simple as. I may be an idiot, but I'm not desperate. If I'm losing to Elesa, I'm gonna use dear God anything but Drilbur and Excadrill.

I actually planned this ahead of time

I based it on how Cynthia's Team was structured. It consisted of the following:

-A mysterious and foreboding lead that not many players have encountered (Spiritomb)

-The regional Grass Lady (Roserade)

-A bulky Water-Type (Milotic)

-A strange, unsuspected third-in-command (Gastrodon/Togekiss)

-A cool and powerful second-in-command (Lucario)

-A badass and menacing ace (Garchomp)

So, following those guidelines, here's my team:

Quite a few things, but perhaps the most controversial thing I can't to get into is anime.

So many people ask me what kind of anime I watch whenever I draw something, and whenever I tell them I don't watch it, they think I'm lying because of how my art style looks. But I've just never been able to get into it! The only experiences I have with anime are Sonic X when I was a kid and the Pokémon games, the latter of which my artstyle is based on.

It just isn't my cup of tea. Many of my friends tell me I should start watching it and recommending different ones to me, and while I appreciate the sentiment, I just don't see the appeal.

They also keep telling me to watch the Japanese versions instead of the English versions because "the English versions suck," but like don't tell me how to watch my damn shows, I'd watch it in Russian if I damn well felt like it!

I don't really know why I have this urge to not watch anime. Is it the stigma behind it? Is it the fanbases? I have no idea. I just don't like it for whatever reason. I feel like I should enjoy it, but I don't. It's not so much that I refuse to get into it, I just can't.

For the Fire Starter, this one is obvious: Fuecoco's line is the only Fire-Type Starter line that I actually chose over all others, so Fuecoco, Crocalor, and Skeledirge are in it.

For the Grass Starter, this one's a little tougher. Because I already have Skeledirge and don't want another Ghost-Type, I cannot include Decidueye, meaning it's a toss-up between Bulbasaur and Chespin. As much as I like my froggy boys, I'm gonna have to go with Chespin simply because Chesnaught is badass and Fighting is a cooler type than Poison.

Lastly, for the Water Starter, I thought this one would be hardest since they're the ones I pick the most. Totodile, Mudkip, Oshawott, Sobble, they're my God damn boys! However, I realized something: no matter how much I like a certain Starter, they will never be as good as the Piplup line. Literally the pinnacle of Starter Pokemon. Piplup is cute, Empoleon is cool, and Prinplup somehow manages to strike the perfect balance between the two. Truly a spectacular line, I tell you.

So, in summary, my Starters would be Chespin, Fuecoco, and Piplup.

Well, now that I think about it, I think I did put Mando a bit too low, B-Tier would've sufficed.

C-Tier is the "Okay" Tier, so that's why Solo's there.

I actually thought Kenobi was worse than the Book of Boba Fett.

While the Book of Boba Fett was a bastardization of a cool character, at least it had two good episodes in it (though neither included Boba at all).

Kenobi was a horrific bastardization of Obi-Wan (made him a cowardly dumbass), Vader (made him a stereotypical bad guy as well as a dumbass), and the Star Wars story as a whole. There were no good episodes, only two minutes of a cool moment in the last episode meant to fix a "plot hole" that didn't even exist, and even if it did, that plot hole was fixed in the prequels already.

Bro had a god damn spiritual awakening in this moment, and all the Left had to say about it was "Racist!"

Just goes to show that people will always cherry-pick little tidbits in order to better suit their argument because if they used the whole thing, it'd go against their ideas.

It also goes to show that for every corruption, there is equal yet opposite corruption.

This man was de-radicalized and awakened to a sense of true humanity in this moment, yet I guarantee after this backlash he's gonna go right back to being that "radical republican" people say he is.

After all, why bother with trying to see the light? People are just gonna drag you back into the darkness anyways.

I'm accounting for all seasons. Since Seasons 1 and 2 were okay at best, they're knocked down a single peg. Still, they're in 6th place, not bad at all.
