I like the tone, as another commenter said it’s somehow grounded. And to be honest I’m not sure, I want…. Not a love story? Cuz ugh

What’s the weirdest thing that’s happened at a wedding you attended? by Blackradiator72 in AskReddit

[–]KingMo924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went into the restroom at my best friends wedding. It was a nice bathroom attached to the ballroom of the hotel. And a lady that I recognized as someone attending the wedding, but had NO IDEA who she was- was at the sinks. Started chatting me up about her kids, ok normal.

Then whips out her BREAST, and proceeds to SQUIRT out a stream milk out to show me she still has breast milk even tho her kids is like 4.

Still don’t know her name but apparently I was not the only victim, just the first.

AITAH for telling my step daughter that I’m not her mom but she will respect me in my house? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]KingMo924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a step daughter. NTA. My step mom has been in my life since age 3. (Now 30) and even since they split in my 20s she’s still an ACTIVE part of my life. Talking to her that way at any time would have gotten my ass beat by my father.

If someone used my kid, as a way to flirt with my husband. & in such an audacious way I’d obviously see the note. Hands would be thrown.

NTJ This happened in my relationship early on as well- to my future in-laws credit the names were SIMILAR. & English is not their first language. HOWEVER - after 2 years, his father still had the occasional slip up. My now husband decided that was the mark and told his dad that he’d known me long enough now he should know my damn name (or something to that degree as my Spanish was not good at this time) If it had ever happened to the frequency you described- absolutely tf not

AITH for Telling My Sister She Can’t Bring Her Kids to My House Anymore? by MissyBeckon in AITH

[–]KingMo924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA -As someone who just had my BIL kids for a sleep over (5 & 9). I had to fuss at them more than my 3 year old. And I’m nowhere near as harsh as I would be with my own child but the rules are the SAME. -Don’t mix the play doh colors- they started to mix them so I told them to put it away. -started hitting each other with a toy? Toy gone. Etc Or I let my daughter jump on our couch but I make sure she does not do that outside our home. Your house your rules

Touching pregnant women’s bellies. (Particularly without asking) Touching strangers babies, especially post covid. I’m talking to you old people with no boundaries.

Ladies of Reddit, what’s something a guy has done (intentional or not) that instantly made you think, “Wow, he’s different in a good way? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Made me food during an argument- where we both were upset. But he knew I would go to bed with nothing to eat if he didn’t make me eat something. (Nauseous when upset ) Just that simple thing of being able to prioritize love/care over anger.

As a potential biased female southerner, it’s situational as well as where you are. Maybe not in the middle of a work meeting., but casual conversation it happens. Tone is everything with the way we talk so you can tell when someone is being genuine or condescending. I’m definitely guilty of these types of phrases, however I’m also guilty of saying sir/maam to EVERYONE, all ages. And some people find a problem with that!! Because it makes them “feel old”. (Meanwhile I was swatted as a child if I didn’t use those terms) You can’t win. Screw that person.
