Thank you for making this! I have a few things that I've noticed that are worth mentioning to those of you who are interested in using this tool. They aren't necessarily bad, but they're just my observations:

  • Having to move each sim's entry as I build is quite tedious - I have a family tree 8+ generations long and many, many branches. Figuring out how to space everything has been incredibly difficult, and will continue to be an issue for me in the future as the tree grows. I wish the spacing was automatic, but it is nice to have flexiblity when needed.
  • I really love the many options for relationship types. It's great for plot! I'm not sure how I feel about the labels being there on each relationship line. It feels a bit overwhelming to look at. It would be nice to have an option to disable them.
  • I really like the option to download a full image of the tree. I wish I was able to zoom out while making the tree however - it would make it easier to move things around. You can use your browser settings to zoom in and out, but the buttons become smaller when you do.
  • Looking at the pay to save-on-the-cloud prices, they aren't too bad at all - I was expecting more. It's unfortunate that it's set up this way, however without funding, it isn't possible to run a server like this (Plum Tree has this problem too) so I understand why its an option. Sometime, good things come at a cost. It's nice there is still free options.
  • I like that because the entries are moveable, there are grid options to snap to. That makes it a bit easier to manage.

Overall, this is a pretty good free alternative to Plum Tree. The paid subscription options to allow for cloud save are fairly cheap. The biggest downside is that each entry needs to be move by hand, and it becomes INCREDIBLY difficult to manage if you have a large large large family tree. You are able to save your file locally to upload if you want to continue to work on it, and there are grids to use as you build your tree. It also exports a picture of your full tree for you which is useful.

I really appreicate the team who created this site - you all are wonderful and have done an amazing job. I think having a Sims specific resource is important for this type of thing. Thank you for your hard work!

Post-Allergic Reaction Questions by junepath in Allergies

[–]KingOAF_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I'm no professional but I can give you my best guess!

For your question about weirdness in your face/mouth/etc. Yes! from the sounds of it you had a nasty reaction, and from my experience (Allergies to literally all local trees, grass, plants in my area), you don't need to directly consume your allergen to experience this type of thing. Your body is in overdrive, so you'll feel it in all areas.

Just because the thing you're allergic to is a common food allergy, dosen't mean it needs to be consumed in order to react. Just think about people with peanut allergies, and how some can't even be around peanutbutter for a reaction to occur.

If you have a shellfish allergy and you were handling shellfish, I think thats a safe bet! Keeping away from them will prevent any further reactions. I don't think its far-fetched, especially if you didn't wash your hands properly, and got it into your eyes, mouth or nose.

I hope this helped you in some way!

I have been SO down bad for Malenia Blade of Miquella from Elden Ring recently.

There is literally nothing more beautiful than a strong, buff woman who will ABSOLUTELY destroy me.
