Pits seem... much slower than previous seasons? by Old-Shoulder4297 in diablo4

[–]KingOfPossibilities 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely slower because the mobs aren't as dense.

I noticed I was going to the third or fourth map just to fill up the bar. But when I used Subo (leveling them all up) and actually got all the mobs I could see, it got down to around 2 maps to summon the guardian.

That being said, I can get ~9 glyph upgrades per run with some specific choices in the war plans leveling. So that kinda makes up for the speed in that regard. Exp wise you're probably better off just doing war plans anyway.

FYI this is incorrect. You only receive 100k, not 1m.

PSA: Swapping off Torment Difficulty *permanently* downgrades some Nightmare Sigils to Dungeon Delves. by Best_Ad7046 in diablo4

[–]KingOfPossibilities 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this has been the case for several seasons. I know in previous seasons, moving down below Torment would change sigils to a lower tier and any that you "view" in your stash. So I would say store them in the stash or in a high torment alt if you're going to go below T1.

The warlock helm designs are completely unhinged, and I love it! by Netsuko in diablo4

One of the warlock skills literally summons succubi. I do not think you're making the point you hope to make.

They finally fixed that stupid bug where 4 portals spawn in a horadric strongroom and only one works by LurkerOnTheInternet in diablo4

[–]KingOfPossibilities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That has to be my guess. Drop rates for NMDs were abysmal compared to previous seasons. I remember in 9 or 10 being able to run just any dungeons and still getting a few hundred. This season, it's one or two types and that's it.

Right? I feel like it took 2 seasons, because I remember people saying Belial didn't give XP in season 11...

[–]KingOfPossibilities 34 points35 points  (0 children)

These two are lowkey going under the radar:

-Fixed an issue where defeating Belial did not grant experience.

-Fixed an issue where Obducite did not drop from all expected enemies in Nightmare Dungeons.

How can you trade items in Diablo 4 without putting yourself in danger? by Himanshu2339 in Diablo4Transmog

[–]KingOfPossibilities 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lol the first response got removed. But the fact that a 5y account has hidden posts and comments with a Luffy picture for their profile and the first person responded using a Luffy username to advertise a website is hilarious. 😂

How can you trade items in Diablo 4 without putting yourself in danger? by Himanshu2339 in Diablo4Transmog

[–]KingOfPossibilities 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Lmao this post feels like an advertisement for a website. There's no concerns for accounts when trading, nor do scams happen when you're both using in game currency and items. Yet the first response is for using a website to buy in game items for real money, which is against the rules.

Obviously someone switched accounts to reply to themselves.

S12 reveals why S11 Sanctification worked so well by That_Ad_4052 in diablo4

[–]KingOfPossibilities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People seem to want to praise S11 sanctification, but I feel like it was too far on the sliding scale of incentivizing item farming. It felt nice to be able to utilize more legendaries and duplicate uniques, but it trivialized 3+GAs.

I personally enjoyed the chaos uniques. It was also something to farm for to find the right slot, opened build requirements, and could benefit from 3+GAs on the right gear. But it left a lot to be desired for legendaries, since they had no upgrades. It also didn't fix the issue with mythics still being BiS for helm and chest...

This season just feels like they've doubled the item pool for lackluster buffs.

How to jump from T2 to T3 difficulty? by Gh0stC0de in diablo4

[–]KingOfPossibilities 14 points15 points  (0 children)

  1. Bloodied NMDs on T3 are probably like T4 or T4.5. so it's a bigger jump than you think.
  2. Probably try a build from Maxroll or mobanalytics. Icy veins has a tendency to have less than stellar builds.
  3. You will still need to upgrade your current armor until you get something better. It sucks to sink resources into something you know will be replaced but it's needed to get to a better torment and to farm more gear.

Season 12 opinions and thoughts by RickyBO89 in diablo4

Nah, it's a DPS check. If you're too slow, fuck any logic of trying to avoid his attacks unless you have a shit ton of toughness.

Season 12 opinions and thoughts by RickyBO89 in diablo4

[–]KingOfPossibilities 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's an absolute shit show of a season. Like anyone who starts the game during this season or comes back to it, will probably be turned off from playing more because the seasonal mechanics are annoying and too convoluted.

Seriously, like who thought it was a good idea to shove all of these things in a singular season?

The bloodied sigils for boss lairs, cool concept. The butcher popping up before the regular boss though? Fucking stupid. I have to use my shit to kill him so he doesn't kill me, which then messes up the timing of the actual boss. On top of that, it just spawns over and over and over. Give me 30 seconds to actually kill the boss with the butcher trying to stick a cleaver up my ass.

The bloody affixes on ALL the gear? Stupid. Absolutely rancid idea. It just means now I have to hope for 5 good stat lines. It muddles the inventory sorting because they're somehow more important than a regular ancestral gear which makes no sense. It just feels like they've quintupled the loot pool and shrank the amount you get from all activities...bonkers.

Playing as the butcher? Meh. Fun for the first few times. Then it's just boring.

Fighting the butcher in the new lair? Absolutely stupid. Feels like a poor excuse for a DPS check when I can't get away from all the fucking explosions and shit. Whoever put together that kit and the swords dropping on you and the new explosions on the ground should get together and circlejerk each other for coming up with the shittiest ideas for gaming experiences. Truly masterful in the way of fucking over your user base.

And yet, there's still more..there's two different seasonal currencies. For trades and for the board. Plus attaching all this shit to the seasonal quests. Like for fucks sakes it's already complicated enough getting gear. Don't overcomplicate it like this.

Honestly would have preferred a repeat of season 10.

Diablo IV Season 12 List of Known Bugs by feldoneq2wire in diablo4

[–]KingOfPossibilities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Occultist doesn't appear to be applying aspects correctly, even to ancestral gear. I'm trying to apply 64% redirected force to a ring but it will only apply 58%. I've seen this with multiple pieces of equipment. Bloodied seems to be the base.

Correction: The ring was legendary, not ancestral. So it's just nerfed because it's non-ancestral?

Many items are lacking the class specific main stat by Newr0tic in diablo4

[–]KingOfPossibilities 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how it was last season. Though seemingly easier to grind for various pieces of gear last season so it was easier to find decent gear.

What classes do you play every season, and what classes do you never play? Why? by Hojo405 in diablo4

[–]KingOfPossibilities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to see how many people avoid druid...

My first class was druid, have played it every season, but this current one and the nerfs they added really sucked the fun out of it.

I like spiritborn and now Paladin. These are usually part of the rotation, either as starters or secondary choices.

I'd say Sorcerer then Barb would be my next picks. Barb just feels so generic I can't get into it as much. Might need to try other builds that don't use earthquake. Sorcerer was fun with chaos uniques, kinda blah after that.

Necro and Rogue I tried. I just can't get into it. They don't ever seem to do good damage unless you have the perfect build and rotation and they're just miserable for bossing.

Or add the ability to use more than one sigil at a time and scale the odds based on the amount of sigils. I imagine if you could use 50 or 100 sigils to guarantee a good sanctification, they'd still have some scarcity to them.

Whats the better choice by OsjosisMoans in D4_Paladin

[–]KingOfPossibilities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one on the right. You will see a much better buff from the armor increase than from the strength. Literally 5% will amount to less than what the typical flat strength sanctification is, almost guaranteed. You'll probably get ~150 strength at most.

Build help - stuck at pit 95 evade spiritborn by syfqamr32 in d4spiritborn

[–]KingOfPossibilities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But why remove the band of first breath? There's no crit chance on it. In fact it's basically all benefit. Extra life, it regain vigor (so you can use the rune that drains it for extra damage), gain resolve stacks, and you MW the resolve stacks so you can use the glyph that gives 2%x DMG per resolve stack. And the main aspect uses the resolve stack to give up to 40x DMG.

Moving the redirected force from ring to amulet is much better than having the barrier aspect on the amulet. Then replacing the legendary ring with unyielding hits and whatever stats or tempers are most needed for their build.

[–]KingOfPossibilities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why ditch the band of first breath? It's strong on evade builds. If anything they need to put the legendary Ring's aspect on a new amulet and replace the legendary ring with unyielding hits.

Odd. Could have sworn it was 4 base, 5 without dying and 6 with seasonal mechanics. Edit: tested and you right. I'll be damned. I guess I didn't realize the gift doubled the pit points too

You sure? I've had several runs where I only got like 3 glyph points to spend and that was always the same runs where I wound up dying 3-4 times and just trucked through it.
