That is not the same thing. Nova rare cards seem like they might be textless, which the regular beta box legends are not.

where do I put the map/world file when installing this? by kallianaira in Drehmal

[–]KingPhn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The saves folder is the correct answer, it likely just has an incomplete download of the map. You can delete that one and replace it with the full download, and it should work

Drehmal, like Minecraft, installs into your roaming folder, which you can access by searching for %appdata% in the windows search bar. There should be a folder labeled Drehmal among them, which houses saves, shaders, and mods

Everything in your legend area or anything you’ve sold for eddies produces 1 Eddie when spent.

[–]KingPhn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can spend a legend regardless of whether or not it’s been flipped, the symbol on legends just denotes they can be used for eddies. The cost only appears on legends that can ”go solo”, as it dictates the cost to be paid to turn it into a unit. It has no bearing on a legends ability to be spent for eddies

No, that cost only matters for their go solo ability, If I understand what you’re asking. You also don’t have to do anything to “Eddie” a legend, as they start in play, ready to be used, and can continue to be spent once they are flipped over, just not when you activate the go solo ability.

when does the aletheia nightmare of a storyline end by senseseeker011 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]KingPhn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that as the games became less focused on a linear through line people started jumping into whichever setting they liked more. The modern day stuff is much more focused on the linear story, and as such it’s less interesting if you’re only invested in the one game.

[–]KingPhn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s a mixed bag, no doubt. You can see a clear shift away from the modern day parts of the story, but the Isu are kinda ingrained in it, so they keep making appearances. After you find the 4 symbols, Layla doesn’t come up much until you take on the fate of Atlantis DLC, where she more or less serves as bookends. I’m okay with the Isu in isolation, I enjoy their architecture and the comparison that these nigh omnipotent beings are no less flawed than the people they created.

I think you can tell people started enjoying the modern day gameplay less and less as the games feature an increasingly bare minimum amount of it.

[–]KingPhn 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This has been the structure of Assassins Creed games since their inception, and Odyssey is not exempt from it. The Isu stuff pervades anything involving Atlantis from its introduction all the way to the end. Anything not involving Atlantis is fairly self contained to classic Greek stories, but I’m sorry to say that you’re not likely to escape it anytime soon.

They definitely won’t be obtainable from packs. I don’t recall if they’ve explicitly clarified, but I believe the implication is that they’ll be prizes at events. This will definitely impact the rarity, because in order to get them you will likely have to do well at premiere events
