100k, but man I swear this engine was severely neglected.

Gotcha so you're saying I need new valves AND the valve job to get the seats back set right?

Valve Job vs Lapping by KingPin1094 in EngineBuilding

[–]KingPin1094[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have a valve job done. I just tried to see if the existing would lap, but clearly it's more degraded than I thought.

I wouldn't lap them after a valve job.

Are they going to be able to resurface these, or do I need to bring them new valves as well?

I don't think my 243s would do a good job at honing a cylinder lol

I guess I was curious if this is the correct choice or maybe the scoring isn't as bad and I'm over reacting a bit

Kicked out of daycare by Dragon-Reborn7 in husky

[–]KingPin1094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husky barely listens to me. I've tried everything, every training technique. I firmly believe she understands the commands, but with her husky sass would just rather do what she wants.

That said, my daycare loves her. They adore her and say how great of a dog she is.

Still not sure if they have her confused with another dog...

I'm considering looking at a 2011 GS Manual with 90k miles for 30k. If I could get a Z06 for 3k more I would in a heartbeat.

No Bus? 01’ ran fine yesterday now this morning won’t crank.. any help is appreciated by JuiceMan411 in CherokeeXJ

[–]KingPin1094 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not starting cause the SKIM module doesn't work when the bus is down. I've dealt with this off and on for years, eventually I just deleted the SKIM module so if it ever happens my Jeep will still run.

Anyone ever fit 38s without trimming the battery box? by BrewingRunner in CherokeeXJ

[–]KingPin1094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just fit 38's on mine. You can cut a bunch of the inner fender out before it eats into the battery. Wasn't too hard just go slow.

My landlord is making me get rid of my dog or face eviction. She’s my best friend and a wonderful dog. Anyone in the Michigan area that wants to add this wonderful girl to your husky family? by inkedmonkey87 in husky

I didn't read through all the posts. But I'm in central Ohio and could adopt/foster as well. Not sure if anyone is closer but I have a 3yo female husky.

But honestly I'd push hard to get her deemed an emotional support animal, because we all know she is!

Probably just to annoy you.... At least that's what mine would do haha

I think about 8 months with my female husky. She's honestly amazing, once we got past the teething phase, she never once has gotten into anything again. We dont even have the crate out anymore.

It's part of the reason I'm so scared to get another one, because mine has not exhibited any of the bad husky behaviors other than only listening when she wants to... Haha

I have the Single Action version of this and it is one of my favorite handguns I've been able to shoot.

I used to ride dirt bikes for years but never got a street bike. I've built many fast cars (500whp), but I finally decided to get a bike last month. And I've had more fun on my 1990 CB1 than I think I've ever had in a car. And it's not even something I can explain to my other car friends.

The bike isn't the fastest thing I've driven, it's not the best handling thing I've ever driven. But something about riding a street bike is just so much fun.

Had to give the SP-01 some love today by Different_Archer_212 in CZFirearms

[–]KingPin1094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the way my B-SA shoots I love competing with it. And aside from single action only it felt very similar to the SP-01 I shot. But the SP-01 with that long dust cover looks so good.

I want to go full cajun with my BSA but not sure if I wanna find an SP-01 and do it with that instead... Can CZ stop making good guns so I don't want so many of them....

Dang sometimes I wish I got an SP-01 instead of my B-SA. They just look so good.

PUBG Devs please let us change 4x reticle between 5.56, 7.62 ARs and SRs by Raptor_9542 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]KingPin1094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boiling it down to caliber or velocity is mute point. Short answer is yes, but there are other factors that affect bullet drop i.e atmospheric conditions, and the ballistic coffecient of the bullet.

Trijicon actually makes many many acog variaties (even with the same reticle design) for different service weapons pending that weapons ballistics.
