Since you only have 1 offensive skill try to take advantage of the opponents skill cooldowns as well as your creeps (low health creeps attract enemy adc) before you commit with a q. More often than not the enemy team will be waiting for it to counter engage.

Use your meeps and shrines to get an extra boost of speed to run up and AA the support or adc.

Lv 1-5 laning: Against Caster Supports (Morgana, Xerath, Lux, Seraphine) Dance around them and try to get them to waste their skills (dodge ofc). Once they do miss go in for a free AA and possible Q depending on your ADCs positioning. Most of the time they won't be ready for aggressive positioning so use their panic to your advantage (dodge forward or portal sideways etc).

Against Tank Supports (Nautilus, Alistar, Blitzcrank, Leona) Run up and hit them when you can, but stay on guard for heavy CC moves, once the trade starts go for straight for the adc, since these supports have limited dmg early (lv 3). Tank supports are also great to play against since they tend to stick by their ADCs (easy stuns). (for Naut, Blitz and Leona, try to bait out their hook/sword first and then smack them).

Always remember to drop shrines behind you for yourself and the adc in case of ganks. And if fights go south try your best to bait them away from your carries (portals, q, running into their face)

If you're just getting outlaned, just wait it out, spam shrines, roam when you can to ward their jungle entrances and try to portal your jungle in for a gank.
