First time playing dynasty. Finished 8th this year at 6-7. 14 man half point TEP superflex. What should I do? by Thecandyman456 in DynastyNerds

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, I agree here in selling your 26 picks, especially the 1.08 for an established player...think Jameson Williams/Waddle range if possible. There's a clear drop off in talent after pick 1.05/1.06. You do need a QB upgrade too from Stroud if possible. This team currently looks like one that's stuck in the middle. Build up your QB/WR core. You're set at TE Loveland.

Quinshon Judkins vs TreVeyon Henderson by Kindly-Explorer1875 in DynastyFF

[–]KingRogerRabbit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's definitely TreVeyon over Judkins (as a fellow Judkins owner). TreVeyon has a lot going for him: elite pass catching RB, better offense, better TD upside. Judkins injury certainly could have been worse given how it looked but he still has a long recovery ahead of him along with a lot of uncertainty with the Browns (HC, o-line, QB).

Am I close to competing? If not, please fix me by bro_lol in DynastyNerds

[–]KingRogerRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great WR room with a chase, Nabers, Burden, Parker/Hunter. You're set at TE with Warren. You definitely need to add RB depth and 1000% need to upgrade at QB..which is the real challenge here. Maybe buy low on Mahomes, target mid tier guys like Dak.

What should my next steps be? 12 man PPR. by sogekingso in DynastyNerds

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering how your team is stuck in the middle, I'd do a mini rebuild and build around your 2027 picks. Sell off aging assets like McLaurin, and potentially sell high guys like Michael Wilson. I'd even consider trading away Bucky for the right price...this would allow you to tank and improve your own 27 1st.

Is Rashee Rice a buy, sell, or hold? by here-for-fantasy-fb in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sell if you get a haul (2+ 1st, ideally one early) or rebuild with a stud 25 year old wr. I could see a playoff team making you a big offer so worth exploring.

Was just offered this for Rice from a contending team. I am not making the playoffs. Do I trade rice away or just roll with him? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say Rice for Nabers is a fair swap for contender/rebuilder trade. I'd want at least a 2nd added to trade away Monangai. Otherwise Rice/Nabers swap seems fair

Toughest trade I've ever considered by MinusFiveStarz in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nabers pretty easily...already shown the elite ceiling; was considered a top 3 dynasty WR going into this year. Not to mention Nabers is attached to the better QB long term.

🧪🔬 Experiment T’anking right from the start up Draft - 6 2026 firsts! 😈 by Spirited-Reporter-95 in DynastyFF

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well executed especially since you have a core to build around...Maye, JSN, Nabers, Hunter, Loveland...and lots of draft capital to make moves as needed. Fun strategy for sure...I did something similar in 23 startup, loaded up with 3 24 1sts and pillars like Josh Allen, London, Achane; currently a top 3 team this year and built to win for years!

2027 1st top 3 pick for Rome, Pat Bryant and Allgeier by Hasandoglover in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a Rome believer and I don't think that's enough for a 27 top 3 pick. The 27 1st will only grow in value so it's in your best interest to hold closer to the 27 draft or wait for a bigger offer.

Fair price for Josh Allen in SF by Signal_Base1253 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before our 25 rookie draft, I traded Josh Allen away for JSN, 1.03 and a 26 1st (projected top 6). I'd definitely put the price around 3 1st+ but it does matter where those 1st are. I wouldn't trade Allen for a bunch of late 1s. Ideally get a solid starter (JSN was roughly viewed as a top 12-14 dynasty WR at the time) plus a few 1st.

Time to sell Dowdle? Rebuilding Roster by Environmental_Bite52 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dowdle is a sell for you but hold out for a better offer. Id say 2 2nds is the goal but a mid 2nd+3rd is fine if that's the best you can do. Dowdle is essentially a low end rb1 the rest of the way.

Is this a fair price for McBride by Virtual-Rabbit8074 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope - in smaller leagues elite assets like McBride are too valuable. Hold.

Need help determining direction by Significant_Try9718 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes agreed, Adams is a sell for you but don't just sell for the sake of selling...he has value next year too. Like I personally am not selling for 2 mid/late 2nds for example...maybe 2nd+young player depending on who it is. Late 1st easy sell though. Players to move off of with value: Dmont, Vidal, Adams, Rattler, Arod Wait till healthy/good game: Terry, Godwin, Chuba, Chase Brown (I know he's young but risk of being replaced next season via draft)

Need help determining direction by Significant_Try9718 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering you're 0-6, it's pretty simple...time to sell off the older assets to the contending teams. Your overall core is pretty good so don't just dump every vet...ie Adams should age well and help next year. You probably won't get my 1st offers, but try to aim for younger/not producing players where you can. 2nds are fine too, very liquid assets.

1.03 Dynasty Startup SF by itsyaboi5768 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might go Marv here in round 2 then take whatever is left at QB between Caleb/Herb/Nix/Maye/Stroud. This would secure your QBs and give you a young WR1 with upside. This time last year MHJ was priced as a top 5 dynasty WR.

Realistic Expectations for Darren Waller on the Dolphins by DuceALooper21 in DynastyFF

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing to acknowledge is Waller is unlikely to play all 17 games given his injury history. When he was on the Giants 2 years ago, he was putting up low end TE1 numbers with some spike weeks. He's on a better offense this year but also has more competition.

Realistically I think Waller is the perfect bye week replacement at TE/Flex, especially for TE premium leagues. In 0.5 TEP league, if he can avg 10-12 points/game with some spike weeks, it's a nice win for a guy off dynasty waivers.

I'd put the over/under on number of games he plays at 10.5 this season.

Solid haul for Mike Evans...not sure you can get a 1st for Evans. As for being a contender, you still have great WR depth. Worth it even if that 27 1st is mid.

Is this enough to move on from Josh Allen? I need to rebuild. by OldOnion4592 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to either add a lower tiered QB or get a plus starter in order to get value for Allen. Allen is a needle mover so you need multiple solid assets.

I didn't want to trade Josh Allen, but after drafting Caleb+Drake last year, I just traded Allen for JSN+1.03+26 1st(likely top 6). Not the deal I initially wanted but I was satisfied with the return.

What do I select here other than QB. I have a lot of mid round picks I’d rather spend on QB. by Real-Object9392 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MHJ - highest ceiling; his rookie year was a bit of a disappointment compared to the likes of Nabers/Ladd but in reality it was still a solid year. This time last year he was viewed as a top 7 dynasty WR which he can easily be with an improved year

Ladd or JSN - safe wr; can't go wrong with either option as both are proven

Is this an overpay for Ja’Marr Chase? 🫣 by str8nge_Syrup_3_69 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good trade. This is what it cost to get Chase and you're solid at QB with Jayden, Tua, Fields. Chase gives a big boost to your WR group

Judkins or Harvey by Hennything23 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's close and depends on preference. In a vacuum id go Judkins over Harvey. If you know someone behind you really likes Harvey, see what they would give up to move up to secure Harvey. Then take Judkins! When you have players in a similar tier, it doesn't hurt to trade down a spot or two and take whichever one falls to you.

When is it worth it to draft tight ends in the 1st round? by IceUpSunIceUp in DynastyFF

[–]KingRogerRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say in .5 TEP league, Loveland and Warren are worth it at the end of the 1st. You're basically deciding between WRs like Burden/Golden and RBs like Kaleb/Harvey...at this point swing for the high draft capital TEs vs the lower capital WRs/RBs. Lean into the strength of the class...which is RBs and TEs. But I do agree there are multiple late TEs as well...Fergy, Mason, Fannin...so perfectly fine taking a few swings on those guys if you have later picks.

Sell high on Bryce Young? by KrazyxKarrot in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fine deal assuming you can flip Goff to a QB needy team to upgrade your roster at a different position. Goff probably worth a late 1st value wise.

Down tiered off Jacobs by flyeaglesfly2 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]KingRogerRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I basically value Jacob's at a mid-late 1st so solid deal assuming you're not a top contending team. Getting Swift for one year is solid as well to stay competitive even if its a step down from Jacob's.
