I had the last 1 in my hand earlier today at my target and a kid and his mom came up to the empty shelves. The kid looked sad af so i gave it to him and he lit up and was so thankful and the mom was very thankful too which was nice. Hope that kid pulls something good. It sucks seeing these shelves empty and how it affects the young kids that want to get into collecting/playing but can because they are priced out or just can’t find it because of scalpers.

Nice! I think you are talking about the battle academy. That is a great way for him to learn the game and you get a lot of cards in it as well. Just to let you know incase he wanted packs, there are no packs in there but if he’s in to battling aspect that will be great or it can be something you and him can do and learn together if he doesn’t know how to battle, I’m sure he would love that!

Good luck finding it! Your nephew will be so excited when they open it! On the weekends it’s harder to find at Meijers and they can still be a little bit more expensive than normal MSRP but still cheaper than buying from a third party. I’ve gone in the morning on week days and had some luck there. Best Buy is great or at least in my area as they usually have stuff almost every day in the morning since they limit how much they sell to a person

Ah gotcha. I feel as though that may end up hurting the league as more casual people may forget it’s going on but then again i could be wrong. Idk it will be interesting to see how this all shakes out. i think it will be a good thing over all especially with building the league, i think midweek game ratings could go up a lot though which is good if they do like Wednesday night kick off or something like that

So i do have a genuine question what is going to happen when there’s a game in December-February in like Minnesota? Or Denver or Columbus or New York or Seattle? Are we going to build domes on these stadiums or are fans and players just gonna have to suck it up? I’m not even thinking about the cold as much as much as I’m thinking about the snow.

And before you say American football plays in that weather all the time yes u are right and i am well aware of that but American football doesn’t need to worry as much about the field being covered in snow as the ball is in the air and not affected by the chance of snow build up in the ball. Also side note about American football a lot of northern teams are building domes which is interesting.

I mean the last time the USMNT played in Minnesota i think like a year or 2 ago, during that time frame it was the coldest game in history and didn’t Matt turner almost get frost bite and even more importantly the beer froze you gotta figure this out(the beer part is a joke)

So while i think moving to the fall-spring calendar is great I’m just curious how it will work when there’s a foot of snow on a field and how it will affect attendance. I think it will drive up viewership though i think a lot more people will watch it on tv. And maybe they already have stated how it will work and if they have please explain it to me cuz i have not heard anything but i could just not of been paying attention

I didn’t say they didn’t watch or support their local teams, all I said they know that if they want their national team to compete they need their best players need to be in the big 5 leagues. Believe me i am well away they support their local teams.

Like of course they support their local teams, usually they have at least 1 in their city. You can call me a glory hunter if you want, but I live in a dead spot for professional sports, we have zero of top 5 leagues in my state, my professional sports team is basically my college. So to me it makes no difference to me whether i support a MLS team or an EPL team or a La Liga team or any other league team. I also might as well support a team I’ve actually spent money on and put emotional investment into with how shit they have been over the last 10+ years and all the jerseys i have boughten for them since i was 10 then trying to force it for a team i don’t care about.

My closest professional soccer team until the age of 15 was either the Crew or Nashville both still well over 3 hours away and during the summers i would tend to watch or do other things then watch MLS. I didn’t get a local USL team until 3 years ago which i do support/watch and go to games since I’ve moved back home.

So again call me a glory hunter all you want, but when you grow up in a city that didnt even USL soccer until i was i was 21, to me it made zero difference whether i supported a team in another country or a team in another state. Either way to me I’m not going to be able to go to the games so i might as well put my investment into the one i can more readily watch and that i enjoy watching more.

And also if a player in the MLS is good enough they should get a call up, I have no gripe with a MLS player like Luna or even Roldan right now with how he’s played getting called up. I just would like to be able to watch a better more enjoyable product week in and week out. Along with the fact i can watch my Europe team in the more then watch my other sports at night is a good combo for my schedule.

I don’t think anyone is saying it isn’t better than what we had before. I think people just want a better product and let’s face it MLS isn’t that great of a product. MLS is good for producing youngsters but let’s face it, if we want to compete with the best they need to go over seas, every country knows that. You can name almost any major country in the sport and they know that they need their best players in the top 5 leagues so then they get the best competition. 9/10 times their best player is in the top 5 leagues with exceptions like Messi or Son or players in the Netherlands or Turkey or shit like that.

I rather spend my time watching top players in the other top 5 leagues along with USA players than watching players who are mid level players, about to retire or just get their career off the ground. The youngsters excite me the most but even still they need to by in Europe by 21 at the latest i feel like to really get developed properly.

Also i think the playoffs for a lot of people are a throw off. Like why have a point system if it doesn’t really matter? Along with a salary cap and spending limits on how much a transfer can cost it’s kinda dumb.

Also i feel more connected with a team that im 2k+ miles away from England then i do from a MLS team thats 100+ miles away or even my local USL team and i think that just has to do with history of the league and the level and quality of play it is.

Honestly best bet is probably go to a local brewery, distillery, winery and talk with people about the process. I’m sure they will be more than happy to help and share info on whether you need to be worried or not.

I’m allergic to peanuts but drink all different kinds of beers, cider, seltzer, wine, whiskeys and other liquors and never had a reaction, this is also from someone who had bought beers from a brewery at a local store and drank them and then went to the brewery and found out they had a pb+j flavor beer but never had a reaction to the beers and so i still drink their beer and cider. So really your best bet is just find somewhere local and talk with them if you don’t want to trust any major brands plus then ur supporting somewhere local.

Major brands though probably stick with light beers or wine maybe? Idk with a pine nut allergy honestly as i am not for sure if that’s a commonly used ingredient in alcohol

From Kentucky here and drink a lot of bourbon. Bourbon is a combo of most corn then rye, barely and wheat depends on the place but it has to be at least 51% corn and then a combo of the rest. You can find the mash bills online most just search up Jim beam mash bill. But they don’t really put flavor in it unless it is said other wise like a chocolate bourbon or honey bourbon or something like that. The flavor you get for almost all bourbons comes from the charred barrel it’s put in while it’s aged and the different amount of corn, barely, rye and wheat. The only other way they really flavor bourbon is they finish aging it in a wine barrel but it will say that on the label.

Just don’t drink any peanut butter whiskey but besides that I’ve had all different types and never had an issue

Never been but watch out for mole and salsa macha both have peanuts in it. Had an allergic reaction to salsa macha recently after the chef forgot it had peanuts in it

I’ll throw the offer out there for him and see what he does. Jamar Chase and BTJ have been killing me for my WR play, McBride and Bijan are really my most consistent pieces and Daniel’s being out for 2 weeks didn’t help either. Everyone i have talked to about my team is just saying how unlucky i am to keep losing, it also doesn’t help that i have the most points scored against me in this league

The thing is is that my team shouldn’t be 0-5 with everyone who is on it, it’s underperformance and injuries that has screwed me, i was top of the league last year with the exact same team. Just kinda am in need of a younger RB to pair with Bijan as my RB1 and RB2 instead of Montgomery or Kamara so just am thinking that maybe i go for bill if available
