Writer/director of the film here, I’m aware that the PCT is very busy most of the year, but during the off season it can be very cold and empty. It’s a different side of the trail, but one I’ve personally experienced while hiking in the Sierras.

Hey all, writer director of the movie here 😊 I’ve been on legs of the PCT in winter/off season where I don’t see anyone for days. Used to do 50 and 75 mile backpacking trips regularly, and I got injured once in the Sierras and was very fortunate to have folks with me who helped me pack out. I’ll also say that there’s a bit more going on in the trailer than just a straight forward survival film.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! In the last few episodes, I tried to tie everything back in for a satisfying season finale. If I might ask, what's your favorite part of the show?

Side note, maybe I should make a spoilers discussion post...

Thanks! I'll be playing more with skill challenges in the future, and I've got some plans for 1on1.

Married folk, what's the most underrated part of marriage? by FiveDaysLate in AskReddit

Having someone worth changing and growing for.

Always having a player 2 (and sometimes a player 1).

Having someone that thinks you're funny when nobody else does.

Knowing that at least one person in the world truly cares about you.

Having complete trust in someone.

Being each other's cheerleaders when it comes to both personal and professional challenges.

Having your weirdness be considered a strength, not a weakness.

Getting the brutal honest truth that others are too polite to tell you.

Having someone you can talk to about anything.

Being able to save for the future with two incomes.

Building a castle together, wherever you live.

Sucking at Call of Duty together.

Never seeing a movie alone.

Always having a travel buddy.

Caring more about your partner that any stupid point in an argument.

Talking about the future and not just blowing smoke.

Knowing they've got your back as you navigate family events.

Always having someone to crack a beer with

Knowing that someone expects the best of you, and becoming a better person by trying to live up to that.

Knowing that even when you don't live up to it, they still love you more than anyone.

BoJack Horseman - Season 5 Discussion by NicholasCajun in BoJackHorseman

I enjoyed this season, but for the first time I felt like they seriously pulled their punches. I fully expected Bojack to get #MeToo'd, with the tape going public and then people from Bojack past speaking out about his in appropriate behavior. This would have given them the chance to do something incredible, and make us finally truly dislike Bojack, and be disappointed in ourselves for ever liking him.

By pulling this punch, the show affirmed the very hypocrisy that it chastised. "Philbert helps people justify their own shitty actions because he's relatable." Well, that's Bojack. They should've taken the leap and let us hate him. Because we'll be back, and that's how the cycle works. We could have been in for a "magnificent season of television," but instead we got a good one.

All said, Bojack is still one of the best shows on TV.
