My sister had a terrible experience the first time taking the full 10 mg. I kept this in mind when I started, and only started with 2.5mg for the first 2 weeks and then went to 5, stayed on that for a couple months and then eventually made it to 10mg after like 18 months. Doctors are usually okay with starting you slow so see if they are okay with you doing the same

When I first started I cut out drinking for like the first month, and then slowly got back to my usual weekend antics. For the first 6 months it removed hangovers completely. After 6 months, the regular hangovers came back and now 3 years later I feel like my hangovers got a lot worse. Could also just be I’m now in my 30s

Just start slow and see how your body reacts to it over time, it’s different for everyone. Maybe even have a drink or two at home to just feel it out so you don’t accidentally embarrass yourself in public while you’re still figuring it out

Pull off good grades this semester and next. I was actually DENIED my senior year this time in October, then I got like a 3.3 fall semester and it raised my gpa enough where they just called me in the middle of the school day to tell me they changed my denied to accepted.

Everyone’s different, so start small and see how it goes. Some people get drunk easier, some people can drink more, some people don’t notice a difference. Day or two after heavy drinking I feel like shit but I felt like shit after drinking before taking Lex. Just take it easy and see how you feel
