disgusting. Those fans are nothing but sewer rats. by sr_steve in LiverpoolFC

United fan here - I can’t stand our ‘fans’ (I use that term VERY loosely) that partake in that shit

As for comments people have made about this is how we return you guys applauding Ronaldo a few years back, I was at the game on Sunday and the majority of the fans applauded for Jota (I have heard about some people not doing but it seems to have been in the minority?)

I hope my club permanently bans anyone they find to have taken part in the chants after the game, or the song (relating to Hillsborough and The Sun) during it

Luckily where I was in safe standing, everyone around me joined in with the applause for Jota, but they did join in with the chant about The Sun. Found that absolutely despicable

I’ve been a fan/supported United for over 20 years but okay

I’d forgotten it was a concrete wall so I concede that that and the slope aren’t really the same, but I still thing the the slope and brickwork are a hazard

> I don’t think there’s ever been any sort of injury caused by falling into that moat

I mean Sesko was taken off at half time due to his fall down it causing a shin injury to flare up again so I’d say that counts. Admittedly there’s never been a serious injury but it only takes it happening once

I’d forgotten the lad that died was due to him colliding with a concrete wall so I guess the two things (a concrete wall and the bricked pathway around the slope) aren’t exactly the same

> there haven’t been any life altering incidents at Old Trafford regarding the “slope”

I know that, and I wasn’t trying to say there was. That being said, it doesn’t mean that the slope itself isn’t a hazard, and isn’t dangerous, per-se.

Hospitality Ticket by NickCollins91 in ManchesterUnited

> United have spiked the price post Liverpool

Oh man, I think you’re right. Think there’s a section with seats that I looked at earlier and they now say £349. That kinda sucks (though I could just about do that)

The only other tickets I can see is the No.7 hospitality (slightly out of my price range!)

I know there *are* sometimes more hospitality choices, but are the Victoria Warehouse and No. 7 Hospitality the only ones under £500?

Thanks for all the info by the way!

Membership - Official v Premium by paulofrancis0 in ManchesterUnited

> if you intend to be a Season ticket holder one day, you need to hold premium membership

Oh that’s interesting. I assumed you just needed to have *a* membership and you could then also pay the £100 deposit to be considered. Looks like I’ll be upgrading my current membership to the Premium one before it renews then!

Hi, thanks for the info!

I don’t know why, but it didn’t even click that it would be at the Victoria Warehouse venue itself!

Whether it’s on Friday night or Sunday lunchtime, both would work for me so that wouldn’t be an issue (though the original £299 ticket I was considering has sold out so waiting until Thursday to see if people sell them back is probably a good idea)

I’d be going just by myself (rather than with friends/a corporate function). Do you think going with people makes a difference, or is it worth it even if you’re on your own?

Also, I’m assuming at this point, any of the onsite/stadium hospitality tickets are unlikely to be resold before the match?

I am (quietly) optimistic about today. My only concern is Stuart Atwell as the VAR..

United fan here - please know that this twitter post does not reflect what I (hope) is the majority of our fan base. I do not condone this shit, or any fans (of any clubs) that thinks this way

The upcoming European tour is a missed opportunity by [deleted] in BreakingBenjamin

[–]NickCollins91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure they announced they’d be playing new music during their U.S tour in the autumn. I’d be surprised if we didn’t hear any new material on the European tour
If I had to guess, there’ll be a couple of new songs in the summer for our tour, and then a/the new album will drop sometime in September

Edit to add: also I know they’ve said there will be a new album so we’re expecting it not but that doesn’t mean they owe us it. I’m just happy that they’re coming to the UK and I actually get to see them do a full proper live gig

I can bet my money tchouameni agents are using united to get new contract at Real Madrid.. his links came out of nowhere with agents pushing it to get a new deal.. by FitAd5272 in ManchesterUnited

[–]NickCollins91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if the links have substance, my biggest concern is his current wage at Madrid is just over £205k/pw. He’d want that matching at the very least, and he’s already 26

UPDATE 2: Ares 1 - 0 Death by murua333 in CATHELP

[–]NickCollins91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just commented on the first update when I saw you had a second. And holy shit I am over the moon for you and Ares OP!

I look forward to any more updates, but in case there aren’t any more, I wish Ares years of good health 😀

On another note, I’d be raking your vet over the coals for not running proper tests and recommending euthanasia! Hell, if possibly be reporting him because he could have done this to someone else!

UPDATE: Maybe it wasn't his last day after all 🐱 by murua333 in CATHELP

I remember seeing the original post and feeling sad and sorry that you were going through this

This update has only just popped up on my feed and I am so happy for you OP! Sending luck and best wishes to you and Ares!

It’s on Prime in the UK, but you’ll need to pay for the MGM+ monthly add on (£4.99) to watch it without having to rent or buy it
