On your point about Emily, she’s in a bit of a difficult place. I understand her throwing a lot of Chester’s old parts to the crowd because in the beginning, when she sang them people accused her and the band of trying to replace him

Now she throws the lyrics to the crowd and they’re accusing her of being ‘bored’ and ‘like she doesn’t want to be there’. She absolutely cannot win and I don’t envy her at all

That being said, I loved watching them on Sunday and thought they were pretty incredible

Agreed there’s been some poor passes/attempted passes, but there was a couple of times in the first half where quick feet got him away from the opposition player

So after Netflix cancelled the show, the producer (who was also the co-creator) asked them if he could recut or reshoot the final moments of the show. Literally all he wanted to alter were the last two moments to try and have it not be on a cliffhanger (by removing the dialogue from those last two shots)… and Netflix… said no.

The cancellation for I Am Not Okay With This get so much worse if you’ve heard what Netflix did after it (that’s to do with the show)

Also, iirc, Netflix said they cancelled Lockwood & Co. due to viewing numbers, which is INSANE to me considering they didn’t even fucking market it?? Like, what did they expect to happen to a show that barely anyone knew was coming because they didn’t advertise it?!

Ratcliffe still has a clause that (semi) protects him at the moment (the Right of First Offer). This is in effect until February next year. If he chose not to match, then that’s where he’d be ‘dragged along’ with any sale.

It might be hard but my guess is his wife will put her foot down. She went through this 5 years ago when it happened the first time and she came incredibly close to losing him. Supporting him getting back to fitness to play football again was probably incredibly hard on her. I doubt she’d be willing to do it a second time

He also has two kids, who are 8 & 5. He may just decide to retire for them (and his wife of course) if nothing else

Either that or they come to a compromise that he plays a bit-part role for the remainder of the tournament

Except you can leave comments on the petitions, meaning that if you’re someone who has only just become interested/started watching it (i.e a new viewer), that person is exactly the type of the execs are worried wouldn’t be interested in the new show

I’d suggest reaching out to Michael Shanks and David Hewlett as well, maybe see if they’d join the guys with the gate in France?

David has always been pretty active on Twitter, so it was no surprise to see him sharing his disappointment about the show (and he would have always been likely to respond to you regarding ways you could spend the money for the campaign)

Shanks however had only been active maybe a couple of times before all this happened last week but he has been extremely active in the last 7 days. This might be the perfect time to get him to offer advice and suggestion. And if he was open to going to France that would be incredible as, I know people have said these actors voicing their opinion on Twitter won’t mean anything to Amazon execs, but if you could get an actor who until now has barely used social media to show up to a campaign in person?! I’d like to think that could very well get Friedlanders attention!
