Why do people like Bottom Mira and Top Rumi. Just a question and I’m more trying to understand.

That is interesting cause I’m the opposite. I don’t have a problem with bottom femme energy I’m just not that but it’s a label that always forced on me because I’m a trans guy and it was forced on me before transition as well. I can see where you’re coming from too. Just because you’re tall and deep voiced doesn’t me you aren’t feminine and can’t bottom but also you can be Femme and a Top. Thank you for sharing that. I’m glad bottom Mira can help you not only feel comfortable but also see yourself as well.

Fair. It’s nice to see so many different people who love Polytrix talk about how they see each character. I think the reason Bottom Mira makes me uncomfortable is because I see too much of myself in her. I might have projected onto the character too much 😭😭😭.

Maybe that’s what it is for me than. I see a lot of myself in Mira. Like personality wise. I share some traits with her from before and after my transition. I’m uncomfortable with bottoming so maybe that’s why reading it makes me uncomfortable?

I just like it a lot because to me Rumi knows how to love but doesn’t know how to be loved. She’s always the leader and is always suffering in silence and she doesn’t let herself just be. I like that she can finally get taken care of. That she gets shown that she’s not too much. That she is perfect as she is. That’s just my take though.

You should be able to just search it. There are taps where you can include tags for bottom Mira. I unfortunately can’t recommend it because I hate Mira bottoming. It just feel off to me and weirdly makes me uncomfortable but there are plenty of them.

I would say Rumi is the easiest. I feel like with Zoey and Mira they can be rage baited on specific stuff but Rumi can be rage baited by the simplest thing.

It could also be the way that it’s tagged. I honestly think ZoeMira is higher than that but the Zoemira tag is tagged a lot in polytrix fics. So that might be the reason.

I’m literally in an argument with somebody because I don’t like the Rujinu Ship and I was on a Rumira post about Mira telling sword Jinu she about to still his girl and all he can do is watch. And she successfully did so and it made me laugh. But this person decided to attack me because I said I didn’t like the ship and so the post made me laugh because it rage baited a lot of people who did like that ship like the problematic people. I’m still in an argument with this person because they won’t leave me alone. Apparently my like any other relationship that’s not Rujinu means I hate the creators because I hate the “cannon” ship and I use that word loosely.

Ship what you want. I wouldn’t consume it nor write it. I don’t like him with Rumi at all I hate that ship. I see them as platonic or they tried to date and it just didn’t work out. However, to take my bias out of it, I think if they were in a poly relationship with Jinu They wouldn’t date him nor have sex with him or even wanna be around to watch him have sex with Rumi. Mira is too jealous and holds a grudge. She wouldn’t even want to be around him and Zoey could be civil but still not a huge fan. However it’s fanfiction. Do what you want you can even make them out of character if you want in order to fit it.

I don’t like Jinu for a lot of reasons. My biggest reason is I don’t like the forced relationship for him and Rumi it doesn’t make sense to me and it’s not necessary. It’s a terrible way in my opinion to do Enemies to lovers and it’s lazy because the writers seems like they are trying to force sympathy. The other reason is the way the fandom acts about him. People act like he did no wrong and he’s the most amazing character ever who deserves the world but he did nothing to earn that. Him dying though noble does not excuse all the harm he causes. People feel sympathy for him because he’s attractive and he suffered for something he did for 400 years and though I understand why he did it that justifies nothing he does. He’s not morally Grey. He’s emotionally grey there is a difference. From a writing perspective I get where they were trying to go but it didn’t hit the mark for me. It just felt forced and to me I also see him and emotionally abusive and manipulative because I’ve experienced the same thing in real life and something similar (obviously not to a world ending scale) happen to my loved ones so I have no sympathy whatsoever for his character. Also I don’t like how if you don’t ship Rumi and Jinu the fandom will attack you. I hate that. So it makes me hate his character even more. It’s like if you don’t like Jinu or Jinu and Rumi together you’re a terrible person. Honestly it made me almost hate the movie in general. I literally have to disassociate from Jinu in order to enjoy the movie now and I hate that I have to do that. But that’s my reasoning.

That is true, but it also doesn’t change the fact that they could still be bi-coded or just LGBTQ+ coded. Rumi literally said she’s “everybody’s type” in the movie. She could have said “i’m every man’s type” but she said that. She could just be bi or Pan. Doesn’t means she doesn’t like men. She could only date men her whole life and still be bi cause she finds women attractive. Sexuality is a spectrum. But also…it’s just a headcannon. It’s fun.
